Default Ate the Big Donut this Week in the FunTrivia Knockout Rounds.

FunTrivia Elimination Tournament Bracket Chart

I lost on the first round. Probably to an Englishman or woman named elfharry. elfharry's User Profile -- FunTrivia.com

My sometimes opponent Walvisbaai Walvisbaai's User Profile -- FunTrivia.com will probably win this week. He/she is very quick and trivia knowledge rich.

I have lost to Walvisbaai in the finals a few times and believe won in one. Or, maybe, that was in an earlier round.

Walvis Bay is a resort that used to be in South Africa but now belongs to Namibia. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walvis_Bay

There are a number of TOTVers playing FunTrivia. You should give it a try as sometimes it keeps the mind sharp.

I got two questions wrong which I should have got right.

How many different strokes in swimming? http://usaswimming.org/DesktopDefault.aspx?TabId=1696

How many houses does it take to put a hotel on a property in US or UK Monopoly? https://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Monopoly/Official_Rules

Some other one that I forget.

And a question about the name of some University in Scotland. http://www.rgu.ac.uk/ Never heard of Robert Gordon University.

It was a player from the Twin Cities-- where I lived in mid-1986 through late 1991-- who won the Weekly Knockout Tournament.

Now your talking. My head is filled with unuseful information. As I get older I still remember a whole lot I just can't pull it up on the screen as fast as before. Is there a timer on giving an answer?

Yes. You get more points the faster you can put in the right answer. There are 20 Questions and some people can do one of these 20 question Quizzes in 60 seconds. These are the best players on FunTrivia though.
