Wife: I have a bag full of used clothing I’d like to donate.
Husband: Why not just throw it in the trash? That’s much easier. Wife: But there are poor starving people who can really use all these clothes. Husband: Honey, anyone who fits into your clothing is not starving. Husband is recovering from a head injury. |

Glad you smacked him upside the headí ½í¸‚
Seriously, I volunteer at two local thrift shops. We can use all of the plus size clothes we can get . They fly right out of the store. When making any donation, please make sure items are in working condition and there are no stains or tears in the clothes. We only put items on the floor that are in very good shape. Thrifting has become very popular. Its great to see things reused, rather than ending up in landfills. |

This is a wonderful place to donate used clothes. Twice a week the cottage is open to give clothing and house hold items out free to anyone. Everything is given out free. There is never a charge for anything. They also donate items to other churches that also give out everything. There is a donation box on curry.

It's a shame these fake charity boxes exist because every item deposited means one less item a real charity could use. |

Goodwill is not a charity organization. It's owner is a billionaire that made his money selling clothes that were donated at a 100% profit. He does hire handicape people, but it is not a charitable organization. It is the name that makes people think it is for charity, but it is not.
