Smile History Question: (Just For Fun)

In the late 1700s an important event took place and the event was described as follows by a famous man. The words in jumbled order are, "seen, has, the, deliberation, of, single, the, ever, world, that, national, effort, greatest".

Reassemble the words to get the exact quote and then tell me:

1) What was the event?

2) Who said those words?

3) In what year did the event take place?

I didn't think this would be so difficult but apparently it is. Okay, I'm going to assemble the above quote and that may help. Here it is:

The single greatest national effort of deliberation that the world has ever seen. That's what a famous statesman said about a project that was being worked on at the time. What was it?

Was John Adams referring to the Constitution or the forming of the Constitutional Convention? The Convention was 1787.

Outstanding! We have a winner!

Yes, he was talking about the creation of the constitution (the process of deliberation).

Very good! You win second place for the correct date!

He was actually referring to the process of creating the Constitution (deliberation).

Thanks for participating.

In light of the fact there were only two serious responses, essentially I came in last. If you could remind me again, is it the lower shelf I pick up my prize?

All the non-serious responses were from those who are mentally (in a history sense) challenged, so you came in ahead of all of them.
