You know what would really drive the Democrats nuts...?

Bush should resign now.

Then Dick Cheney becomes President (that would really send the liberals into orbit)!!!

Then he appoints Condoleeza Rice as VP.

Then Cheney resigns two weeks later and Condoleeza Rice, A Republican,
becomes the first BLACK President and the first WOMAN President !!!

WOW....that is a GREAT idea....then the party could actually end the term on a good note....

I, as a Dem, actually like C. Rice!! SHE would be a great president...too bad McCain didn't choose her as a running mate...would have given him a better chance at winning!!

Oh well....but good idea!!

Don't know if it would drive us liberals nuts. I would hope it would scare the bejezus out of Dems, Repubs and Libs alike. I do, however, like the idea of Ms. Rice as VP and Prez. I'm with Cassie -- she would have been an excellent running mate for McCain.

I believe that McCain met with Condoleezza Rice soon after he won the nomination but she wanted to return to academia and was not interested in pursuing another position in Washington politics. She would have been a great running mate and the out come of the election would have been different. Oh well, coulda-shoulda-woulda.
