Let us know how the ketchup/mayo combination goes! I have put that on hamburgers but never tried it on hot dogs.

It has to be Heinz Ketchup, though, and not spelled Catsup.

I like my dogs loaded; mustard, onions, relish, sour kraut, and yes Ketchup. I'm trying to keep my Adonis like build, so I forego the mayo.

As much as I despise what John Kerry stands for, it HAS to be Heinz with relish, onions and mustard. And I, too am from the Midwest!

Heinz makes a really good mustard-based relish, too. Kinda hard to find.

Good to know. This was back in the '80s, in their home town of Pittsburgh, no less.

Of course, we spent a summer in Idaho once and couldn't find an Idaho potato.

I love ketchup, but to even see someone else place ketchup on a hotdog makes me nauseous! Wouldn't like it on a baloney sandwich either! Now, I'll gladly pay you Tuesday for a hamburger w/ketchup, mustard and relish on it anytime!

Heh-heh... Coming from a Chicago hotdog fan, would be my guess.

I lived in Florida most of my life and Heinz had the hotdog relish (mustard and relish) and the hamburger relish (ketchup and relish). I never understood why until I moved to New Jersey and they have the mustard on hotdogs and ketchup on hamburgers phobia.

I never let it bother me. Mustard and ketchup on both!!!

I managed to get my NJ wife to eat mustard and ketchup on hamburgers but she will not eat mustard and ketchup on the hotdogs. She does not know what she is missing.

That hot dog picture you posted looks perfect. I prefer Ball Park Angus but usually get what ever is on sale.

Looks wonderful! I'd add relish & mustard as well.

Mustard, Ketchup, and onions on both, but absolutely no Ketchup on scrambled eggs!!! Must be a northern thing.
