Actually, took my old washboard, put in hooks, and hung it in the laundry room to hang scissors, the fly swatter, a shoe horn and other junk on

I still have a couple of clock radios! What do people use instead? Cell phone?

Is anybody still sticking with these?

referencing the aluminum ice cube tray

It made a satisfying sound when you pulled up on the lever.

And fun to do when we were kids. I wish we still had some. They make nice, thick ice cubes.

We had one of these when I was growing up, and in the '80s when our kids were young. I sliced the web between thumb and finger, so I guess they weren't all that safe. But so convenient!

Wore my skate key on a string around my neck when I was a kid. Before we had bikes, we travelled by skates in the city. Put my skates on each summer morning and took them off only to come inside to eat lunch or go to the bathroom!
