Talking A Burning Question Concerning The Proposed Village of Fruitland Park

While reading the heavily posted thread about the new village in Fruitland Park, a question popped into my mind that I just had to ask. Will seasonal residents that travel north for the summer be called snowbirds like they're normally referred to, or will they have a unique distinction of being referred to as... {drum roll please} fruitflies?

LOL....before I got to your suggestion after the drumroll, I immediately thought FRUITFLIES.

Or maybe "horseflies" since there are horse pastures in there!

You're looking at the wrong piece of land. There are peanuts planted on all that acreage.

But....isn't it a dairy farm right now?

Fruit flies, cow pies,
Snowbirds, cow turds
Nothing could be sweeter,
Than my sweetie when I greet her
In The Fruitland Park part of the Villages
In The moooorrrning.

Hey! Maybe... just maybe you're... aah... on to something here!

Gary has built this great place called The Villages... you know; great homes... great residents... great network of golf cart trails... great choices for dining... great rec centers... great entertainment and much much more.

With all this, it makes our area one heck of a great show place, and as with many a great show places. there usually winds up being a peanut gallery.... sought after or not!

Hence... enters Jimmy Carter to fill that inevitability of a peanut gallery and all it can bring with it!

So yup!!! You're on to something allrighty... something where Gary has again created an opportunity... opportunity unknown to us for such a peanut gallery and for Jimmy Carter to be the unsuspecting driving force behind it happening.
