A friend from Orlando just called me to find out more about a quilter show at TV labor day weekend? Does anyone know anything about it (i.e., date, time, location, schedule of activities and so forth)? Thanks for any assistance you may provide me!

I am a member of the Quilt Guild of The Villages (about 1,000 members strong!) and there is no Labor Day quilt show in The Villages under this organization. However....the big, big bi-annual Quilt Showcase will be January 23 & 24, 2015, at Savannah Center. Small admission price ($5.00) to see the display of probably over 200 handmade quilts by TV quilt makers. (A shameless plug!) I will check around to see if there is a nearby quilt show coming up in September and will post here.
