Default Proverbs 11:27

Andrea on Twitter: "Proverbs 11:27
Anyone can find the dirt in someone.
Be the one that finds the Gold. http://t.co/XkuU1eAKD9"

Seems a very fitting passage even if it has been modernized here.

Hi Gracie, Here you are (Matthew, Chapter 5, New International Version)

The Beatitudes
Jesus said:

3 “Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
4 Blessed are those who mourn,
for they will be comforted.
5 Blessed are the meek,
for they will inherit the earth.
6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they will be filled.
7 Blessed are the merciful,
for they will be shown mercy.
8 Blessed are the pure in heart,
for they will see God.
9 Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they will be called children of God.
10 Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Honestly I past this post then made myself go back and read it and am grateful I did. With the garbage I spend my entire day reading and listening to it was very nice. Thanks to all.
I was a devoted altar boy because of the money for doing weddings and funerals plus we had access to the wine. We were a real bunch of criminals. When Father O'Connell caught us drinking the altar wine he told our parents and we were punished severely. The worst part was the look in my father's face. This screw up hurt him and even though I was very young I realized how bad it was to steal the church property. I worked Bingo night with the snack and coffee cart for what seemed like forever till my father said I was on parole. I was so close to our church when I was young and I've tried to get reattached several times with no success. We will give it another try again this weekend.

Nice story Nucky. I seldom go to church and probably would only be going to perhaps find someone of the opposite sex who has values similar to mine. But so many of the churches here are kind of seas of gray hair. My hair is getting that way too. And I have dated older women before of maybe one, two or three years older though.

You guys may see be soon in church the way my social life has been going of late.
