So I'm not home yet, but a Pollyanna is when you put names in a hat and each person picks one and whoever you get is who you buy a present for. Some large families do it as well as workplaces. It makes so that instead of buying a bunch of NOTHING gifts for everyone, you can use your money to buy one nice gift for just one person. Does that make sense?

I brought it up to be funny but I guess the jokes on me if no one even knows what I was talking about.

Nope, not going there. My luck has been NOTHING but bad lately. I've been in 2 stores in the past 2 days and incidents have happened in both where I have been caught up in the middle. I don't need to actually look for trouble, it comes to me. People are just plain crazy out there........

Yes, I was up at 2am. Yes, I'm the first one up this morning. Yes, K, you were on a roll of being funny yesterday with fw as your sidekick. The 2 of you keep perfecting it and maybe you can make more than NOTHING down the road. I'm sure TOTV and TV in general will continue to provide you with more ammunition - no worries there. Better to laugh about it than to allow it to frustrate you. Wonder where our main attraction, Nucky, was yesterday? I think he may have been out padding the post count on other threads. It's always a nice thing to help others in any way we can. And glad to see tomwed check in. Thanks to him we have a great idea for our NOTHING party this year. Should we give him a break and tell him he doesn't have to cook for the party? Heck, fw, it should be a snap for you and I to handle since we'll just be serving up a bunch of NOTHING anyway.

Well, today is Tuesday, September 25th. Got a lot to do to get ready to leave on Thursday. I'll be checking in though - you can't get rid of me that easy.

Ha! You beat me by a minute. So to answer your question, I can only think of 2. W and Big Al. What a pair those 2 made. Polar opposites in many ways but a heck of a comedy duo - albeit at times NOTHING but R rated which is why they were banned from performances until after 10pm when all decent people are usually in bed...lol

Do you suppose W had the power to burn his image into our brains and did so before he left? Darn, he's hard to forget!

I think of him every time I see a road runner of any kind. My husband is a big cartoon fan and that was one of his favorites. W left kind of a NOTHING void especially at night.

That is why I try to stay out of everything but NOTHING but we all slide sometimes. I do try however not to beat any dead horses.

I would give all my NOTHING to have the patience and demeanor of some on this thread, but I guess we are all different in some way or another and that's what makes life more interesting. My husband's life would probably be boring without me (or at least that's what I tell him) and we would both probably be crazy if the 2 of us were like me. Funny how that works out - balance, I guess.

I just decided to not go to my morning outing which is usually a 2+hour ordeal. Feeling too stressed about having so much to do before leaving on Thursday. That's a big deal for me to change up my schedule like that, especially last minute, but I guess now that I did it I better get more than NOTHING done!
