Actually I think the first few posts I made were to sell stuff we had brought with us and found we didn't need. It took me a while to start posting in the forum and then came NOTHING.

Good morning, all you NOTHINGS. I hate mornings where I get up feeling more tired than when I went to bed. Then all day I think about the nap I want to take and never do...... Well if that's all I have to complain about life is good.

So I guess I'm back, a lot sooner than I had planned but it seems I'm more dependent on you guys than I thought. I suppose the next thing you know I'll need a program for that or some deep psychotherapy. If that happens, I know some good people that I might ask to join me.

Today is Thursday, October 18th. Meeting this morning then going for some "hair therapy" this afternoon. Which reminds me, how was your shopping therapy trip with your BFF the other day, fw? And Nucky, did you make it to Disney yet?

I didn't buy much but we had a lot of fun. Her and her husband are very good friends of ours and we enjoy going out with them as a couple but I also enjoy our one on one time shopping. I also do Operation Shoebox with her but that is another place that it is too loud and busy to have a conversation. I think that is NOTHING but my biggest problem down here is the noise everywhere. (Maybe I should start a thread every week to complain about it)

WHAT DID YOU SAY?!? Lol. NOTHING better than having "couple friends" where all parties get along. And kudos to you and your friend for your time spent helping out with Operation Shoebox, a very worthy cause.

The Disney thing is dissolving in front of my eyes. I believe travel plans have a part of that happening. The thing that has changed is me, I NOTHING but accept the results of all the family dynamics. My watch is over. The oldest son and our hard working beautiful Daughter in Law gave us two amazing nut job Grandchildren and we couldn't be happier. We are meeting them at the airport and seeing where the day evolves from there. I'm out of the planning department, I'm in the Transportation Department. Yes Sir, No Ma'am. I hear and I obey. Very excited to see them all on any level.

I'll bet the little one steers them to our house somehow because when she sees Grandma it's all over, she is desperately in love with Abuela!

I'm picking up what you're putting down, brother. The beauty in all of this is in seeing one's own growth in one's ability to adapt and be able to leave the control of whatever happens in someone else's hands. I hope and pray that your time with your beloved children and grandchildren way exceeds any expectations you may have. And we expect NOTHING but a Nucky report on all the fun you had together.

Yes it is NOTHING but difficult reaching that point where you know that you have done all you could and that you just have to stand back and hope you did well. We all made mistakes and so will our children but the choices were ours and now they are theirs.
