I took the heat for the poor little NOTHING. We had him outside all day and Zippety Do Da. We go to the pool and Luca Stikes Gold.

Maybe tomorrow we will bring him to the pool with us. He probably is a great swimmer. Do you think anyone will say anything about him being in the pool? After all, he is only 16 lbs. NOTHING or NOBODY would even notice. We just were training him how to climb a little wall that I built for him and already he won his way onto the furniture.

I got one of those animal TV channels for him to watch and when we got home he changed the station to watch the News. Of course, he had the correct station on and he loves watching Dr. Pol who is a fantastic vet that saves all sorts of animals.

When we would leave we would put both dogs in their crates for two reasons. My husband said they were safer there because if anything happened they would try to hide and secondly because one of them was an herding dog and he would nip the other dog if he thought for some reason that he needed to be herded. That way we could be sure that when we got home NOTHING bad had happened. If we were gone for an extended period of time we would send them to daycare. When we moved down here we no longer had room for their crates but by that time they were both seniors and no longer pups.

Now that it's over its funny but finding my old My Pillow distributed perfectly through the room through the cage or whatever the hell its called. He NOTHING but pooped all over the cage and himself. He was sitting in the cage like he was thinking, I didn't do this, it's not my fault. I don't care I jumped in and one two three Scooby Doo Doo we're back to a happy family. Mrs. Nucky loves this little bugger but at first, I thought it could have gone bad for the little guy. His history is unknown but thankfully we have an almost never-ending bottomless pit of patience for all this foolishness. He is worth all this and more and me thinks there is going to be NOTHING but more, lots more. He's his new Daddies Son. A trouble maker!

How old is he? This sounds like NOTHING but puppy behavior. Time to sign him up for puppy school.

Our first pup, an adorable looking blonde cocker spaniel was a bit of a handful when we left her alone. We were always told they don't go to the bathroom where they sleep. Well if that's true, that wasn't part of her DNA. We would almost always have a mess to clean up when we got home. She apparently suffered from severe separation anxiety. Hey, she came with it, she didn't inherit it from me - lol. Anyway, the one thing we didn't do with either of our dogs, which in restrospect I wish we would have, was to put them on a strict schedule regarding when they eat and then when they go. I think that may have made our lives much easier. Maybe others can weigh in about that because I could be wrong.

In the meantime, it's Sunday, January 13th, and I want to be sure I don't forget my NOTHING. I don't have a dog around to blame it on if I do......

Yes our dog eats on a very strict 12 hour schedule. If we are not here our neighbor will come over and feed him for us. He likes his schedule and NOTHING but knows what to expect. We usually have melon in the morning and give him some but this morning we did not have any and he kept going over to his bowl wondering where it was.

Thinking about the Luca redecorating incident did NOTHING but remind me of a funny story from my youth. A neighbor had a new beagle that was an escape artist and would destroy almost anything he could get his teeth into. The dog’s name was Blaze.

When we got home from a two week vacation we gathered our newspapers we had a neighbor collect for us to see what had happened while we were gone. The first one had a big headline: Blaze Destroys Farmhouse. And we all NOTHING but first thought of the dog.
