Mrs. K had me plant her lettuce and spinach today. I usually like to wait until at least Mother's day. Hopefully this won't amount to NOTHING..

How about, I have NOTHING but a Light Bulb out in the hallway so I'm gonna withhold $50 until you fix it. Not. I'm with you. But the benefits are cool when the handymen or handywomen are plentiful and cheap!
Section #8 is the way to go if you can handle it. A little rough some times. A whole lot of beautiful people who would do anything to live in The Villages.

Thumbs up

Bought Neon Prey the latest Lucas Davenport book by John Sandford. NOTHING but enjoy these books and get a kick out of buying it at the Barnes and Noble Store #2264 here in the Villages.

Looks like this one might be set in Las Vegas from its title but have not started it yet.

I had a coupon from One Blood or obtained through them for $10 off the price. They give gift cards a few days every month or so and you can use these at a variety of stores or restaurants.

Usually it is platelet money which are kind of yellowish and they take one to two pints of it each time I go. You can donate platelets 24 times a year and not for NOTHING.

Takes about three hours from when you arrive to when you get out.

They have a lot of special prizes for platelet donors like if you donate six times in three months while they have the promotion you get a $60 gift card. Less if you only do 2-5. This April through June of 2019 is "Step Up to the Plate".

They seem to get a kick now at One Blood when I have to say my birthday of 2-24 as well as my name which you have to do a few times.

One of the married women there I have bumped into since 2007 or so. When they were called Florida Blood Center and were by the 441/27 US Post Office in a very small office. She has a couple of kids who are probably now in their late teens or older. Nice lady.

After 28 gallons or so of donations my veins are pretty scarred up but I have heard of people with more than 110 gallons.

When K and I get moved to TV maybe we can buy the coffee for the 2 of you at member rates. Sounds like we'll need NOTHING less than K's truck to pick it up though the rate you guys drink it - lol

Good morn.......I mean, afternoon, everyone! I was out doing the doctor thing myself this morning. Praying Mrs N's test results provide some answers and NOTHING but good ones at that.

I usually limit myself to 2 cups a day, maybe a decaf later in the day. I got into trouble with drinking too much when I was in my late 20's and working 10-12 hour days. Started having problems with rapid heart beat. When I went to get checked out by a cardiologist he could find NOTHING wrong and suggested that excessive caffeine was probably the issue. I can't drink that much now because my stomach can't take it.

You're the smart one, Tal. I should probably quit all together but I enjoy having something hot in the morning and sometimes tea does an even worse job on my stomach than coffee, believe it or not.

I love tea. However it always makes me nothing but nauseous unless I drink it with something hearty to eat. Yet I have no problem with coffee on an empty stomach.

We are all so different, aren't we?
