Wow, that was a long nap! Guess it's time to go to bed for the night now. Told you I was getting good at this. Just woke up to a text from my son. He's taking me to church and then brunch afterward, so this mom's a happy camper. Hope all the rest of you moms have a wonderful Mother's Day!
NOTHING but Happy Mother's Day today. My Mom has been reading my older brother's new book to my Dad and it sounds very gory. I will read it after John Sandford's Neon Prey which I am still busy with. But I am getting an idea about what it is like. Then I will hand Neon Prey over so that my Mom can read it to my Dad. They go through a book every three days or so.

That is to 300,000 views of absolutely NOTHING. We have 298, 547 as of 10:55 PM EST Saturday Night.
You said BY May 15th and you're right. I said way sooner but I'm the one NOTHING but off. I can't believe it and didn't even realize when I posted it is already May 12th! When you're busy the time goes by like a blur. BY May 15th would be right. If we don't see it happen by the 14th, I'm sure when we wake up on the 15th - BINGO!!

Now I wonder why am I making such a big deal of this. Are you feeding me something in the NOTHING diet that's making me a numbers person like you, Tal? I mean really, why am I doing a whole post on this? After all, it's only NOTHING.

Have a great day, my friends. Looks like I'll be running in and out of the rain around here today and the temps will be in the low 50's but it will be a happy day nonetheless, I'm sure.

Probably have 300,000 by the 14th on NOTHING but I was just being conservative. Friend's daughter graduates from college today. I think I saw his daughter first when she was about 12.

Tal, that is so sweet. When my aunt and uncle lived in London for 12+ years, she was working full-time because he ended up becoming very ill. They were both musicians and intellectuals and enjoyed reading, writing, and of course music. She told me they spent a lot of their spare time together where she would read to him. Knowing them, they would probably read and discuss, learning from each other in the process. He was a brilliant man and very worldly.

I always thought how much I would love to do the same with my husband but I don't know if I could get him to sit that long without him falling asleep. Seems like NOTHING but an intimate and even romantic way to share some time together.......a true expression of love and enjoyment of one another's company. Maybe I see it that way because I don't think I ever knew a couple more in love and devoted to one another than my aunt and uncle.

Thank you so much for the Mother's Day wishes and the great memories that you just gave me. I wish NOTHING but the same to your mother today.

Happy Mother's Day to those who are or those who have a Mother.

Here is nothing but a few thoughts for the day:

The Vocabulary of a Mother

Dumbwaiter: One who asks if the children would care to order a dessert.
Feedback: The inevitable result when the baby doesn't appreciate the strained carrots.
Full Name: What you call your child when you're angry with him.
Grandparents: The people who think your children are wonderful even though they're sure you're not raising them right.
Independent: How we want our children to be for as long as they do everything we say.
Puddle: A small body of water that draws other small bodies wearing dry shoes into.
Show Off: A child who is more talented than yours.
Whodunit: None of the children who live in your house.
Bottle-feeding: An opportunity for Daddy to get up at 2 am.

Have a great day.

She has Alzheimer's so does not really understand a whole lot of what she reads and not for NOTHING. But she is doing OK and we have a wonderful group of neighbors who have known each other for 14 years or so. At least, most of us. Some left but come back often and/or are connected by Facebook. We did have to deal with loss of a neighbors' granddaughter at Parkland HS on Valentine's Day but that made us stronger but they moved to be closer to their surviving grandkids. I do not know why but God has put me into a lot of groups that get hit with tragedies of some kind which also get a lot of press. Or people who have to deal with these tragedies and their aftermath.

You certainly have experienced a lot of tragedy. I read a meme that said that God doesn't give anyone more than they can handle so he must think you are a bada**. Hopefully some day karma will swing in your favor and your reward will be great. In the mean time you are a valued NOTHING for all that's worth which is ....NOTHING.

We have had a Parade of Phone calls and FaceTime's today with everybody. Mrs. Nucky is happier than a Clam At High Tide! Whew! I'm letting her pick the spot to go to eat. Oh Boy!
