The burgers were surprisingly good in that the meat had a char-grilled taste. Also tried the Cod fish. Also surprisingly good without an overload of breading that is so typical of most fast food joints.

I wanted to try the New England Clam chowder but they don't have it every day. The soup of the day was Brocolli Cheese. We both enjoyed that too.

Oh, and while I'm at it, we really liked the cole slaw -- reminiscent of the famous KFC cole slaw. So, overall, I think we have a winner for those times when we just don't feel like cooking and want something fast and cheap.

I really did it for your Husband as I would hate to hear that the guy would have to go back to the Vietnamese Joint that really didn't agree with him or me. Turns out I was tricked when the Youngest kid and his wife came down for the last visit. They went out to get Chinese but it wasn't Chinese, it was a trick. It was the Yellow Building Catty Corner from WaWa! It was a Big Pepto Night!

I'll get them back. They are too young to know about Exlax Brownies.

I now can understand why. That doesn't mean that it has usurped Haagan Daz' Chocolate Peanut Butter and Vanilla Swiss Almond as my all time favorites -- but any port in a storm and the Concrete Mixer was nothing short of delicious!
