OMG - too funny!!

To tell you the truth, I NOTHING but sweat more doing housework than when I exercise and at least I can see some immediate results. Taking a break now from my 2 hour floor scrubbing extravaganza.

Ok, forget that last NOTHING.......I AM jealous. Not only because it sounds so delicious, but more so the ability to enjoy it without having to do all the work. Hey, I should remind you, I'm very good at clean-up....lol

We would have no one to take over Kommandership of NOTHING since we have all done it.

And I totally missed it, so what does that make me? NOTHING but a Den Mother with too much emotion and not enough discipline - lol.

Since I give everybody else a pass once in awhile, I'll give you one this time. I guess it takes awhile to muster up your NOTHING after a partial leave of absence.

As far as you ever resigning, well that's when you'll see me play hardball - NOTHING doing!

There are NOTHING but a lot of beautiful homes there. I just can't imagine buying a four bedroom home for retirement though. If I could find a two bedroom Premier I'd be all over it.. lol

NOTHING but stunning but not exactly downsizing. It's the same way I feel about NYC, I love to visit but wouldn't want to live there.

You're NOTHING but right. We'd have to fill it up with other people. I know one thing for sure, I'd make sure one could clean and one could cook - lol

I think our game plan is a good one for us - to initially live in our little place until we see what our needs will be. If we had a bigger family it might be different because we might need the extra bedrooms. But like my husband keeps reminding me - the intention is to downsize and of course he's always right. No way would I put that much money into a retirement house anyway, but one can always dream......

We wanted a CYV and we added our own upgrades to make it NOTHING but perfect for us. The biggest downside to the CYVs is the small garage but we waited to find a 2 car garage model.

You will never get a NOTHING past the guards. You also have a 30-day HERO in our eyes exemption as stated in the MANIFESTO. I made contact with the other side and he said its so. So let it be done.

I understand the eating thing. I think I may need an exerciser. Sorry, I meant NOTHING more than an Exorcist. I hungry already but have to shape up and get back in the healthy swing of things again.

Different strokes for NOTHING but way different folks. I don't want to blow the JONES off the map anymore, already played that game. Our best friends who came to visit last year are in fact named JONES.
They started at the 300k mark and were down too about 200k by the time they left because the reality hit them that it's not about the house totally. Functionality is key. We are modest all the way around finally and it really feels nice, I think, it's still new.
Gonna have to hire Hazel with that Lallapalooza house. No doubt that the entire area is beautiful where that house is.
To each their own. I'm happy for them if that's what rocks their boat.

If we did ever move it would be a home like yours I think. Or a Patio Villa with the Golf Cart Garage on the side. NOTHING better than being comfortable than with your choice. Your choice is Primo. It was close a while back but we don't wanna pack up no MO. Not yet! :clap2: :mademyday: We'll see how the health is in a couple of years!

Nucky 09-15-2018 03:42 PM

Believe me when I say we are NOTHING but modest people - always have been and always will be. It sure would be silly to change in retirement. We never had the JONES complex - way too practical for that. We also have always been very fortunate to have friends who are of the same mindset. Some have money and some don't, but we all live moderate lifestyles and you really wouldn't know who has what. My husband and I never moved too far in our thinking and desires from our mostly blue color roots and we like it that way. Like my wise husband says - what makes life sweet is your relationships, not what you have in the way of material stuff.

Material stuff can be gone in an instance. When we went to the Waterford factory in Ireland and I came home with NOTHING my friends asked me why and I said why do I want anything I have to worry about breaking?

Wonder what tomwed has been up to? He's been MIA this past 24 hours or more. I hope he doesn't think he isn't able to come back unless he has a recipe to post.

Tomwed, wherever you are, you only have to bring your NOTHING to post here and NOTHING else if you so desire. Hope you are just out having some fun somewhere.

Last time I heard from tomwed he was going to the Waterford Outlet to see if they had any deals in NOTHING other than the Scratch and dent department.

Our Daughter In Law has a pair of shoes that are important to all the girls around 30 years old, I don't know the name but they have a Red Bottom on them and Oprah owns a pair. I think they said $900. I said zero, but I was thinking that's $90 per toe and more than my entire wardrobe. I never want to wear long pants as long as I live. I own two pairs in case something comes up that I can't get out of.

If it wasn't for the Safety Officers I wouldn't wear long pants either. I think we should have NOTHING but a pants burning party when I retire. I'll save a couple pairs to get into the main dining room on our cruises though.. lol

Hmmm........so has NOTHINGVILLE declared burning of the pants the new burning of the bras? Leaving you 2 alone at night may be a dangerous thing - lol

Good morning, everyone. Today is Sunday, September 16th - halfway through September already. Before you know it the holidays will be here and a new year will be upon us. Indeed, time does fly.

Up and out early to the gym today, but honestly I think I worked out harder scrubbing the floor yesterday. The smaller house in TV should be a snap to clean compared to this one. Maybe the desire for a bigger house will diminish when I find out I have too much to do in TV to want to spend time keeping up a house. My husband is already looking forward to a lot less yard work. I never thought I would hear him say that because he always enjoyed that. I guess we're getting old........or maybe we're just getting smarter. :)

I vote for getting smarter. We went from 3000 sq ft most of which we didn't even use to 1700 very efficient sq feet. Being all on one level is NOTHING but the best.

Ditto to all of the above. I can't wait for a smaller yard to maintain and Mrs. K. can't wait for NOTHING but a smaller house to clean.

Mrs. K. has to work today then she'll have the next two weeks off. One week with her mother here then one week in California to run her mom and dad to doctor appts..

So her turn to leave you to bachelor it for a week I guess. God bless her. What a good daughter to give up her valuable time off to tend to them. Something she will surely never regret.

I understand. My mother was my best friend and the most wonderful person I've ever known. In fact, it was when my husband met my mother that he knew I was the person he wanted to marry. Unfortunately, he forgot to take into consideration that I am NOTHING but half my father - lol.

He took her passing as hard, if not harder, than I did. She treated him very much like a son and he was closer to her than his own mother. At the funeral, between him on one side and my dad on the other I felt like the rock at that moment. Fortunately for me, I was able to spend time with my mother in her last days and was the only family member that was there on the night she passed. Sometimes the pain of her loss still hits me hard but I know I was blessed to have a mother like her, so I'm grateful for what I had for how long I had her in my life.

On more of a NOTHING note - Costco seems to be unable to maintain a supply of the most important item that I buy there - their store brand greek yogurt. It is the best! I've tried so many other brands but none compare. Apparently they are having a production problem and I'm not the only one disappointed. I was told it is one of their top selling items. It's a main staple for me so it feels like the rug being pulled out from under me........what a stupid NOTHING worldly thing to be concerned about. I guess I'll live - :ohdear:

And I didn't even know I was NOTHING 7400......sounds like a race car or something. I don't particularly feel like one right now. My husband keeps bugging me to go out for a bike ride and I keep looking at him like you're kidding, right. I just did an extra 15 minutes longer at the gym than usual while he sat home doing NOTHING. He replies it's a tandem bike you have to do NOTHING but sit there. And I said yeah, but I'll probably fall off and crack my head open because I'm so tired. He replies, "I'll put a helmet on you." That's when I said I'm going to take a nap.
