So here's the thing - when people do what you speak of and feel no remorse that is such a sad thing. A normal person may do that in a devilish moment and have a momentary high, but will almost immediately realize their error (that pit in the stomach moment) and will feel remorseful knowing they hurt someone else. Often, they will be quick to want to rectify their error. But unfortunately, some people can't even see who they really are. I have often referred to it as a lack of ability to look in the mirror and see their own reflection. And ironically, they will often think they are exactly who they profess to be against. Again, just can not see themselves - probably some kind of psychological something or other.

I say it's a sad thing because it is such a waste to live your life that way. You, Nucky, like to make people laugh. I like to make people smile. Both, IMHO, are better ways to spend one's time.

May we take a moment today to remember the many who gave NOTHING but everything for their country. Their sacrifices can never be forgotten.

Gracie, dear, NOTHING makes me happier than calling you Friend. However, I am deathly allergic to FB and swore it off long ago—NOTHING but a private group of my siblings. I can take NOTHING more. It overwhelms.

NOTHING but the same here.. I have never been on FB, Myspace, Twitter, Instagram or any of the other social media sites. I'm too afraid of people from my past finding me.. :shocked:

I understand what you guys are talking about. My husband and I never had a FB page until a friend of ours stopped by and insisted we had to have one. I looked at it more often when we first had it. In time, I found out how much it made me dislike some people by going there. So I rarely go on now (just an occasional peek) and I found out I still like those people. Not sure why, but I guess I just prefer not to know that much detailed information about some people or if interacting face-to-face is just that much different.

Personally, I prefer NOTHING. NOTHING expected, NOTHING judged, NOTHING but fun and positive interactions. We may not all be the same, or like the same things, but we can like each other despite our differences and even sometimes because of them. I have grown fond of each and every member of NOTHINGVILLE and all for very different reasons. But maybe because I enjoy living life looking for the good in others and letting the rest go by the wayside. Keeps me peaceful and hopefully sane (that might me questionable though).

Btw, all are welcome to join in and become part of the community. Not exclusive, the more the merrier!
