Having been hospitalized (Spinal Issues) on most Memorial Days and with my past work schedule in the old days I never had a chance to real really concentrate on The True Meaning of This Beautiful Day. Wow it really is something else. I'm not sure of the name of the show last night but it looked like the Mormon Tabernacle Choir with narration from various actors with scenes from all the conflicts we have been in. Our Family including our youngest son are stateside for the moment. The pressure that people who have a service member in action overseas now is incredible. I had to keep it together when he was in a few bad places over there. We are fortunate. My heart today is with the children and families who have experienced the worst. I'm taking the rest of the day off. See you NothingBurgers tomorrow.

I'm in for the long haul. I wish we could collide (Hows that for a Nuckism) the Original gang from Three Word Sentences with our Nothing gang. It would really be cool to Channel certain Eternal Members. I feel like some of them are still here with us. Some really great people with positive outlooks on life. Name some if you wish so we can pay some respect to them also. My memory is like Swiss Cheese. Low Sodium Of Course.

Appreciate your reflections on this day - a day that commemorates way more than NOTHING and something that many of us cannot even begin to imagine the sacrifice a person and their family makes to serve the rest of us in this way. Ken's previous statement is also very important and worth a repeat -

May we take a moment today to remember the many who gave NOTHING but everything for their country. Their sacrifices can never be forgotten.
