Actually I was thinking the same thing - how fun would it be to be able to drop by K's place for lunch, then in a few hours head on over to your place for a yummy chocolate dessert afterward? Or just to be able to go back and forth to TV in a flash?

I was just thinking (and that is not always good) how people can get along, or not, without ever having met. Kind of like that Sleepless in Seattle thing. OK NOTHING but aimlessly rambling now.

Mrs. K is baking an apple pie from some of the not so pretty apples from our trees. The house smells NOTHING but terrific..

NOTHING but one of my favorite smells - apples and cinnamon. Apple pie is not my favorite pie, but my guys sure love it. In fact, you just gave me an idea for my son's b-day this week. I can make a gluten-free apple crisp for him since cake is out. Well, I guess cake isn't really out since there are gluten free versions but neither my husband or son care for cake and guess who would eat it all........can't have that!

Speaking of pies, my husband just walked in with a piece of amazing homemade pumpkin pie and I didn't have to lift a finger. Now that's the way I like dessert if I'm going to eat it. I've got to get this recipe though. It's delicious! The pumpkin filling is kind of light and fluffy so not sure what was added, and it has NOTHING but a delicious crunchy topping on it.

Good thing he only brought me one piece. :mmmm: Pumpkin is probably my second favorite pie of the few I actually like. I'm a little like fw - if I'm going to go for a dessert I usually look at the chocolate choices first.

So while you guys were stuffing your faces I was out gambling and made 2700.00. Unfortunately it was NOTHING but fake money.

Our friend with the medication problemo is being discharged from the hospital in a couple of minutes. 11 PM on a Sunday night, I guess its best to just shut up and not cause a scene. Fracture in the shoulder, the bad medicine that was the entire problem has been flushed and onward to a rehab. He has to get his strength back before he can come home. Its a miracle, once they flushed out that medicine he came back to his beautiful self in 12 hours. I'll get the name Mrs. Abby, I wrote it down and can't find it but it was a whopper.

This man who got jammed up by mistake is a great goal for a guy like me to grow up to be a reasonable facsimile of. Found out he is going to be 90 shortly and is as sharp as a tack and funny as hell and even funnier when he was hallucinating. He knew he was hallucinating but joked about it. You had to be there. Nucky I am so glad your friend is going to be OK. That is part of the appeal of The Villages is that people do seem to live longer, stay more active and healthier. There was a lot of NOTHING going on but spiders and Walking Dead are not for me and I think I'm done with poop too!

I was about to ask last night as to where you were, but figured I'd let it go for another day knowing how busy and tired you have been from all that is going on in your life. Glad to hear the positive news about your friend. Medicine, even prescibed meds, can often wreck havoc with our bodies. Especially as we age, our body functions aren't as efficient so we don't eliminate them as well as we used to. Glad your friend is on the upswing. One thing I love about helping others that you exhibited in your post, is that while we're attempting to support and lift their spirits, we are often blessed tenfold in the process. Sounds like that's what happened to you. :)

NOTHING but new topics for today - no poop, no spiders, not even pie. So what's on the agenda for today, Monday, October 8th? NOTHING but work for today. Bought some new hedge trimmers so I can start to reclaim the yard that I lost to the blackberry bushes over the summer. This is the time of the year I can be really lazy. So in an effort not to turn into the goodyear blimp I'm determined to spend a couple hours a day outside. Rain or shine.

The thought of hedge trimmers or the chainsaw my husband was using yesterday NOTHING but makes me shudder. I'm still trying to figure out how many times cutting oneself while trying to prep dinner is enough to declare a person clinically incompetent to cook. Decided to throw a pot roast and veggies in the crockpot before leaving for work. Only cut myself 3 times :ohdear:. Imagine the damage I might do with a hedge trimmer or chainsaw. If you see me go for one of those items, please, be a real NOTHING friend and stop me......

About your outdoor exercise plan, I'd give it a :thumbup:. NOTHING like getting some exercise AND accomplishing something in the process. I always say I clean house aerobically because I usually sweat more doing that than at the gym. I also tend to shop that way so you may want to steer clear if you see me at the grocery store......:1rotfl:

We just came from the ReHab that our friend is in. I forget the name but he is in loving tender caring hands. NOTHING but relieved that he can get the help he needs. He was his old self-today cracking great jokes and kidding with the nurse. Now we are going to take a ReHab Nappy Poo! I am an expert.

We met a neighbor and a friend from the pool there, they all had NOTHING but good to say about the place. I'll get the name for you guy's, hopefully never :pray: needed but you never know. :icon_wink:

This man who is hurting right now will rebound because of his beautiful attitude. He answered yes whatever you ask of me I'll try to the Occupational Therapist. Other people were being very negative. I understand it's not easy to be up when you are feeling bad but this man's attitude pretty much matches mine but how he has held it together over 90 years of grief and happiness is NOTHING but amazing and a great example for many. He is steady, I'm about as stable as Jello, some days great somedays not so great.

I'm the Lucky Nucky. Remember when my dog died? I never got more love coming my way as I did then. It changed me Tal. I stopped being such a negative ******* right then. We NOTHING but celebrate the Negativity around this joint instead of celebrating the Positive. There is way more good than bad. I'll take the Dog problems and bad drivers because its NOTHING like what I thought it was. The problems are slight and inflated to cause controversy.

We're lucky we have you Tal, You've been a busy beaver with your posts over the years and took some heat like a man. Bravo. When our Lobster buddies abandoned us we were lucky to be adopted by this BUNCH 'O NUTTINS.
