Women win, men lose. Gotta get all these NOTHING tit for tats in before we get wrapped up in Thanksgiving festivities where we all have to be nice - lol I know, I know......I shouldn't have used that expression on here :ohdear: |
And finally.. Happy Thanksgiving everyone. It truly is a unique dynamic we have here. There are very few places where you can set aside your differences, overlook your biases and just have some meaningful, or not so meaningful conversations. Where we can make jokes and good naturedly poke fun at each other. A small community where we show concern for one another when one of goes missing or is just having a bad day. And of course I'm very thankful for all the concern you showed while I was out on fires this summer.
And after all that I almost forgot my NOTHING.. lol |

I, we, Tal and I have the unique view as being participants in the Three Lobster Sentences Thread and Now NOTHING.
We spoke earlier today and have come to the conclusion that Making a Bet is No Problemo. However, collecting on the bet seems to be a HUUUGGGHHH problemo. Therefore it is deemed as I am the most Trustworthy participant that I should hold the Lobster for the one bet and the Cash Value for the second bet. This seems NOTHING but above board to me and mine, whaddayasay Louey, Rocko, Vito? They all Concur. A Friendly visit from A Moderator, I am happy as hell to see that checking on us is only several times a day rather than several times an hour. We should be Grateful For the Fellowship we have on our little Dopey Thread that we openly welcome others into at any time and today as a Thanksgiving Special there is no Credit or Background check to join. This is for a limited time only. Think of the Fantastic people who have passed through our Thread during the last year. One of them had our head spinning but was the Salt Of The Earth and a Real Life Nut Cracker. We probably all have love for this guy. I for one miss him. Time to clean up and head for the Grub Bub. Being on NOTHING has really been SOMETHING. Wish I got to see the Corvette Project car finished. Enjoy your day. I'll be checking in later. HOPE YOU GOOD ON YOUR VISIT MRS. FW. SORRY, I HAD TO YELL BUT YOUR SORTA FAR AWAY. |
Mrs. BK, I just saw a post from you in a thread called SIGNS OF MEN GETTING OLD. You are one Lovely Funny Turnkey! You crack my Fat A** up!
I also like the one that a Man needs NOTHING but half a Viagra to keep from peeing on his shoes. Your list is going to THANKSGIVING DINNER with me and I'm talking credit if they laugh. Their humor isn't the same as ours. Maybe not as quick! You know what I mean! LOL. What a great friend and addition you have become for NOTHING. Hip-Hip-NOTHING! |

Stuffed with steak instead of lobster, turkey or ham. NOTHING but good this time from the Publix butcher. Usually they are just so-so as far as beef but tonight we had some really good cuts. :mmmm:
|
I need to be rolled to the couch. And I haven't even attempted dessert yet. NOTHING but stuffed..

While you guys all stuffed yourselves tonight, I didn't go for seconds, had just a sip of wine, and only a taste of the desserts. I consider that NOTHING but a miracle for Thanksgiving day. The food sure was great though - lots of variety and lots of it. Grateful for the abundance and especially for having the best neighbors ever. One thing we will surely miss when we leave. |

NOTHING but sweet dreams.. |
Good morning, everyone. It's Friday, November 23rd, and it looks like the men of NOTHINGVILLE not only stuffed the turkey but themselves as well - lol. I trust that fw and BK also had a good Thanksgiving.
It's about 15 degrees here this morning. Thank goodness the sun is shining brightly - a little solar gain can only help on a cold day like this. My husband was up earlier than me and reports a beautiful harvest moon was hanging over the early morning sky when he awoke. Sorry I missed it. The views in TV must be amazing at times with those wide open skies down there. No Black Friday shopping for me. Whatever I needed in the regular stores this week I got on Tuesday when everyone else was grocery shopping. Today while everyone is running around frantically doing holiday shopping, I'm headed to the grocery store. NOTHING better than avoiding the masses. |

Had NOTHING but a fabulous day. Went to bed last night and slept like a rock. Today we are going to cut down a Christmas tree. Have a great day everyone.

Good Morning NOTHING'S. That tripsleepomine in the turkey really worked. I'm still groggy! What a beautiful day and the meaning behind it all was not lost on me for once. Onward & Upward.

I would never post that last bit on a post directed to the Kommander. He would accuse me of being too mushy - lol. Had to give you a laugh for the day......:icon_wink: |

NOTHING on the agenda today except to move some furniture around to make room for the Christmas tree.. |

We pulled the Christmas stuff out early this year and have things pretty much set up just not turned on yet. Keeping it pretty limited since we won't be around much but still have to have lights throughout the house in some fashion. No big tree. I use mostly white lights and decorate in a winter theme versus Christmas. That way I can keep everything up longer. It helps to have the white lights throughout the winter when it gets so gloomy and depressing. Something tells me I will need NOTHING like that to keep me happy when I move to TV. :) |
