In NOTHING but N.J. I outlawed chicken at our house. The kids would eat fried happy or unhappy chicken for every meal if we let them. It had to be fried though. I bought a beautiful deep fryer for them because I didn't know it would turn into an everyday event. The smell of the chicken fryer in the house could gag a maggot. I would take the wifey to Spirito's until the house smell came down a couple of notches.

The chicken had to be happy & young if that helps. :1rotfl::1rotfl::1rotfl: Sorry but its true! What a man won't NOTHING do for his woman! :ohdear:

I like Fried Chicken now but only from Publix!!

It's funny the subjects we cover here on NOTHING. Mrs. K. would always ask how I liked dinner. She doesn't even bother anymore if it has chicken in it.., lol

But, But, But there is alway's Cod & Lobster Tail's to fall back on. NOTHING but way better off anyway as long as it isn't the dreaded tomlapia. Yuck! Tilapia = Chicken with no pecker! :clap2:

All of the lobsters in Florida are sad. All of the happy lobster are in Maine. We went to a turtle farm once and we could touch them and watch them swim and we only found out later that they were being raised for food. NOTHING does go down the rabbit hole quite often.

I think the Something Rules say keep it clean but a little adult clean humor is Okay. BK007 or BK001 gets off NOTHING but the bestest jokes and Equadog was on fire for a while too. The Joke Thread NOTHING but pooped out. Wish I had one I could tell on there without getting thrown out of The Villages. Almost forgot Shecky Green = dewilson58. Let's go we need some laughs. :1rotfl::1rotfl::1rotfl:

I'd love to be able to help but I hear good jokes all the time and then NOTHING but forget them. Had the best time tonight at the Sumter County Sheriffs dance for the Kids, Cops and Christmas Program.

Now that I need to sleep for work tomorrow, I can't. Just came downstairs to get some Tylenol when the weather alarm went off. Took a look at the radar map and looks like a tornado could be heading our way. :22yikes: Hopefully NOTHING happens and you'll hear from me in the morning.

That's no Bueno!.. Do you have a basement you can go to if you need to? NOTHING but extreme weather these days. Stay safe.

All is well. NOTHING happened and the warning is called off already. Yes, we do have a basement. I said something to my husband who rolled over and went back to sleep. My son who was in the basement at the time came upstairs and went to bed. What the heck? So as usual I guess I was the only one concerned. :ohdear: It's not that unusual to get warnings here. I've been known to go to the basement when the winds really kick up and the howling begins. We had one hit close by several years ago.

Back to trying to get some sleep before the alarm goes off for work.

Abby10 11-03-2018 03:25 AM

Thanks for being a voice of concern last night, K, as I was getting none of that around here.......lol. Fw, sounds like you had a wonderful time last night - how fun and sounds like a great cause. And Nucky, it makes me sad how much you still miss your Barney. Praying for the right time for you to say yes to a new pup in your life.

I'm NOTHING but off to work. It will be a rough day but fortunately I work with a great crew. It's Saturday, Nov 3rd. I think I just lost the first 2 days of the month. Oh well. At least we all get an extra hour tonight - don't forget to set your clocks back!

fw102807 11-03-2018 06:12 AM

We had severe weather warnings also but they always seem to be north or south of us. There were reports of tornados in Tampa but NOTHING here. That is why my husband wanted a concrete villa since these homes have no basements. We had such a specific list of what we wanted it made finding a home pretty easy once we found the one that had everything we wanted.

Glad Mrs. Abby is feeling better, Yippee. I never knew that your part of the world got tornado warnings. Holy NOTHING I'm surprised. Glad you're good.

I knew we had a warning yesterday but not too concerned, aware but I'm a Floridian now and these things happened.

When we first came down we wanted a CYV and still do, Concreto & at least a 2 car garage bumped out if possible and a corner lot but the lot is not an absolute requirement. Until then our Manufactured Home is exciting when we hear bad weather and or tornadoes are on the menu. I would stay here until the end because it is perfect except for opening the door to let the dog out. I can't wait to get another Mutt!

I'm grateful just to be here on any basis. I looked at The Villages Real Estate and Realtor.com the other day. Quite a difference from when we arrived. Prices have increased substantially. :clap2:

Kenswing 11-03-2018 10:07 AM

We have NOTHING but rain in the forecast. It's just after 8:00 here and it's still dark. Thank goodness we set the clocks back tonight.

Nucky, please hold the home prices down for us for a few more years.. lol

I hear you guys about the home prices down there. That's one of the reasons why we bought our small place over 4 years ago. We figured this would happen and wanted to build some equity if NOTHING else.

We were going to do that but went back home and thought about it and decided to just do the move. My husband knew this was where I wanted to be and supporting 2 homes just seemed NOTHING but silly since our home up north was so expensive to keep. I started looking at larger villas and eventually found this one which is perfect for us.

Many of my friends who I wouldn't trade for NOTHING told us if you move to Fenney then you'll never see us again. B.S. to the blasting worked at a quarry, it's a bigga B.S. Triple B.S. to the Prison Problemo. It's beautiful down there but I'm going to either stay on the Hysterical Side or one of the Spanish Named Villages or up in the Northern end which is BEAUTIFUL. This is what we like. Driving to LSL is a treat in the Golf Cart.

We're due for one of those wandering around aimlessly nights in the Golf Cart, it's priceless and entertaining.

K-man & Mrs. Abby when the time gets closer I volunteer to be your eyes on the ground. When you see a house online that needs further examination then I'm NOTHING but your man. It would be my pleasure.

Contract negotiations on Real Estate is an Art. A game of Chess, not Checkers and I love it with all my fat heart.

We saw a 2 br/2ba Patio Villa on sale in one of the newer hoods down near Brownwood and by the time we got down there in about an hour after we found out about it we found out we were too late. This joint is amazing. It was a wreck and needed everything because renters mauled the place. Just my cup of tea.

Gotta go we are watching a dear friends dog for the weekend. Truly a gift from above. I hope?

Lots of people say being near the square is not necessary and that you eventually get tired of going there but we are going on year 3 and still enjoy going to LSL several times a week. We also occasionally go to Spanish Springs and Brownwood. We are midway between them so it is NOTHING but a great golf cart ride whichever way we go.

Before the BiPap machine when I was having a hard time sleeping we would go for a Cart ride to Brownwood and hang out for a little bit and hope NOTHING ate the bread I dropped to mark our way back home. This is when we was da new kids and the GPS thingy wasn't working to good. Man oh man would I sleep like a big baby with all that fresh air slapping me all day. Just great.

The floss got most of the bugs out of my toffies. :1rotfl: Now is NOTHING but the time of the year for a ride like that so my leg doesn't get blasted by the Florida Sun. For those of yous who don't live here yet, it will rip the hide off of you. Sunblock Berry importante. :ho: Adios Amigas & Amigoses! Later.

I have a question that begs to be answered. I just got in from a long day at work. Afterward I was taken out to dinner by the big boss. I just drove an hour home from there. And on top of it all, I didn't sleep very well last night. Needless to say I'm whipped, but here I am posting on NOTHING.

Here's the question - where the heck is the Kommander? Just because I took some time off is he now on strike? What gives? NOTHING minds want to know.......

I did take a little nap. But spent most of the morning having a fight with a bathroom fan. The fans that were installed in the house have a 3" exhaust. The newer fans seem to have 4". So instead of an easy swap out I had to crawl up into the attic so I could put an adapter on so it would fit the existing duct work. NOTHING but a pain in the buttski..

NOTHING better than a good plan.

Count me and the real NOTHING boss in, Subject to the schedule with the other thing, you know, our buddy boy.

haven't mentioned him in a while but he's doing great, well better anywho!

No gas card here. I can remember asking dbussone to check out a house for me and he told me Nucky my friend its a bomb. That got me excited like when I see a Concrete mixer, just a little Pup Tent. Everybody could use a set of eyes to help them out and I've done it for others. Anyway, the one that d-man said was rough is the one I bought and shined it up quickly. It's a diamond in the rough now because of the Meathead that screwed up our lawn about a month ago.

It would be my pleasure. I wonder if I'll be checking houses on Conservation Trail?? Oh La La! I go anywhere, I don't care, I even know a secret way to Fenney by Golf Cart. Try to keep that quiet though it would drive the Inmates NUTS, I tell Ya! :super:
