I have the other package of Skyline in the freezer. I didn't throw it out because I promised GG that I would try it again but doctored with onions, and beans and cheddar cheese, etc. (It seems to defeat the purpose of buying a frozen food). But I can not bear the possible chance of ruining a nice homemade Chili so it will have to wait for nothing but another time (maybe).

Would be an awful lot of culture around Manhattan. And not for NOTHING. Too many people for me though. I do not like crowds all that much.

Oscars 2019: 347 Feature Films Eligible for Academy Awards | Hollywood Reporter

I see that the Oscars come out on my 60th birthday. The BIG 6-0! NOTHING to get nervous about. These are on Sunday, February 24, 2019. Rarely ever even watch award shows of any kind.

Lots of the movies that may be on the Oscar best picture, actor, actress, director list come out tomorrow 12/21/2018. And a lot of these are at the Rialto Theater.

When I was in law school in 1986-1989 I certainly saw a very different future for myself but stuff happens that you have very little control over, unfortunately.

One of the movies opening tomorrow at the Rialto here in the Villages that probably will be the overall favorite for Oscar nominations. The Favourite (2018) - Rotten Tomatoes

And this is not just for NOTHING.

Another one which is also at the Rialto and opens tomorrow. Welcome to Marwen (2018) - Rotten Tomatoes

RIALTO

RIALTO

Good grief! I have no time to do NOTHING! To calm myself, Robert and I saw a FABULOUS Met Opera perfomance of La Traviata. (Those who know me know I do not use the f-word lightly.). NOTHING but stunning. The cast was fantastic and left NOTHING to be more desired. These live-in-HD broadcasts are NOTHING but exceptional. At the Rialto. You should go.

Thanks for the opera report, Henryk. One day I will get there. Sometimes the best thing to do during a busy time of the year, or when life itself is hectic or chaotic, is to go and enjoy something you love and be swept away from it all for awhile. Sounds like NOTHING but a great day!

I was hoping someone had seen that and would post a review of it and putting it on the NOTHING thread is very cool. Thanks. :clap2:

It truly was amazing. NOTHING dramatic or such, I cried at the end.

You MUST see Carmen. Rialto 2/2, 2/6, 2/9.

Kenswing 12-20-2018 08:01 PM

Had two pigs wander into our yard today. No idea where they came from but Mrs. K was hearing NOTHING about my idea of turning them into bacon. lol

The wind today blew down a lot of fences. I'm sure that aided in their escape. They decided it was too dangerous here and moved on down the road.

Whoa, did I pick NOTHING but the wrong day to leave? We gave up after 500 miles. That’s normally when we are warming up. Should have been able to do NOTHING less than go A l l T h e W a y. (Chris Berman) Accidents all over the place and as much time delayed as we spent driving. Oh well. The car is unbelievable. Comfortable as hell and 38.1 MPN = MILES PER NUCKY. About time I listened, it’s fun to be cheap. See you NOTHING but tomorrow.

Tal, I went through a rough patch where I forgot my NOTHING more than I remembered it. Get a couple quarts of good blood and better luck tomorrow. That is strictly a joke. You’re my friend. It’s a funny. :1rotfl::1rotfl::1rotfl:

Well here goes NOTHING. Glad that the wandering pigs were not made into bacon and that Nucky's trip went well.

I may go see Carmen as I seem quite weak in the area of musicals when playing FunTrivia quizzes which sometimes cover opera among many other musical subjects.

Abby10 12-21-2018 05:15 AM

What a way to round out the night. We found out not only do we have a storm chaser (sorry for the harrowing drive, Nucky, hope today is better for you), but we may also have a pig chaser in our midst here in NOTHINGVILLE. :ohdear: Thank goodness for Mrs K or we'd probably be smelling bacon all the way over here on the east coast this morning with all the wind out there. In the meantime, glad you and the Mrs are safe, K, and that you didn't have any damage to your property from what I gather.

Today is Friday, December 21st. My long work day got switched from Wednesday to today so I'm up bright and early. Like Nucky, I'm not looking forward to the drive. Rain all day up here and I'm sure plenty of holiday traffic for the drive home. 'Tis the season. On the other hand, it could be worse - it could be snow.

Hope you all have a great day!

Nothing but Good Morning Abby -
How I dislike driving in the rain. Please be careful and drive safely.

Nucky 12-21-2018 06:23 AM

OK, spunky, I’m ready for NOTHING but action. Ready to be On The Road Again. Maybe I should write a song.

After 500 miles, it sounds like you are already committed. I assume you are on your way to the Garden State which is probably somewhere about 900 miles or so? Did you decide to stay in a hotel? Remember, much better to be safe than sorry. We want you and Mrs. N nothing but back here in TV in one piece.

Nucky 12-21-2018 06:34 AM

I’m having a hard time getting getting the bed from this hotel in the car. Wowser, it’s the greatest. We have NOTHING but a Posture Pedic at the Love Shack but this one Blows The Posture Pedic outta the water. No aches and pains. Just wonderful. This has been a Public Service Announcement from Points Unknown. I am going to try to get the name of the bed.

Nucky 12-21-2018 06:40 AM

It would have been NOTHING but foolish to keep going last night. Total insanity on the road. Mrs Nuck was shocked when I pulled the plug on PeeWee’s Great Adventure. I’ll stay over another night if necessary, safety first, the three older boys still think I’m a youngster. Only at heart.

BK001 12-21-2018 06:42 AM

It has nothing but rained and rained and rained here. I thought my Lanai was going to float away. The pool level is almost to the top and the Spa was close to overflowing. (I know, could be worse -- could be snow!) . For that I am grateful. More scattered showers today and then Saturday and Sunday should be sunny.

Good call. Prayers that the rest of your trip is nothing but uneventful and clear sailing. Saiiling? :1rotfl: I meant that metaphorically. LOL . Keep dry!

If it was snow we would be buried. I am so done with that. I love Florida in the summer but I NOTHING but LOVE Florida in the winter.

Good morning FW - I hear you but for me, any day that I can't jump into my pool is a disappointment. I erroneously thought that all of Florida was hot year-long and "brutal" during July and August. What a surprise to have 40 - 55 degree days. I was not prepared for this. Hubby though keeps it in perspective and will say, "You know if we were up North now you would think it's a beautiful day". He's right -- I'm just nothing spoiled by those warm Florida days.

In addition to bacon I don't like pools either. Any house that had a pool was an instant turn off for me and I don't golf either. I guess I am NOTHING but a stick in the mud.

Lots of new movies opening tomorrow and many of them I want to see are at the Rialto and only at the Rialto.

That was the only theater open when we moved here in June of 2005. The Old Mill Playhouse opened its doors around November of 2005.

Rather slow day on NOTHING yesterday. 207, 785 views as of 12/21/2018 8:54 AM.

I used to be Superman too. Driving for 18 hours straight to visit the family in California. Now I break it into two days and even take a longer more scenic route. Being retired gives you NOTHING but options on how long you take to get there.

Have a safe trip, Nuckles..

I think one of the things Mrs. K is looking forward to the most is having her own pool.

It's funny when we visit Florida and it's in the 60's and everyone has parkas and gloves on and we're in NOTHING but t-shirts and shorts.. Can't wait until 60 is cold to us.. lol

I can so relate to you. We don't golf or play tennis and, we bought this house DESPITE the fact that it has nothing but a small pool and an outdoor SPA. But once I started using the pool, I loved it. I now feel I would never want to be without one. Due to a lack of interest, it took us 2 years to get the SPA cleaned, filled and service and, to a lesser extent, I feel the same way about it. My only problem is difficulty getting in it because of my bum hip!

My husband wore nothing but shorts and t-shirts. We would be out and invariably someone would ask us if we had just arrived! They said it was primarily newbies who were in the t-shirts and shorts.

We've been told that one's blood changes to adapt to the climate -- I don't know if that is true but I never used to feel cold in 55-60 degrees and now I do.

Yeah, that would have come in NOTHING but handy. Why don't you drive it on out? I'll wait- lol.

Actually I'm planning to take the high road home tonight. The only problem is it goes right through deer country which is why I usually avoid it. You know my luck with that......

I certainly have NOTHING but trouble in temps below 60 F and I lived in the Twin Cities for 5.5 years, near Milwaukee, WI for ten or so and near O'Hare airport close to Chicago for three months in Autumn of 1994. As well as Denver for a year and Reno, Nevada for 13 or so years.

It seems to have NOTHING to do with the blood though. Health Matters: True or False: Hotter Climate, Thinner Blood? - NBC2 News

I have been in FL for 22 years or so. Except for a few trips to the DC area or Texas.
