I already started praying a little this morning. Lemme tell you something, in my entire whole life I neber eber neber have been as ascared as FW'S pup than this morning. I got up and opened the garage door to observe for a minute and couldn't believe what my eyes were seeing. It was like BK said, Wicked. It was the first time in a long time we had a storm like that. It's unbelievable.

We lost Television because we Stream no Internet but the Weather Radio was going off every two minutes. That raises the anxiety level for sure. All is fine now. Back to Beautifulmaximus. :)

While we're all hiding under our beds saying our "Our Fathers & Hail Marys", K will be having NOTHING but a field day on days like that in TV........well, hopefully he won't actually be standing out in one

Unless he buys next to me up in Chatham Acres. NOTHING but OOH-LA-LA. :1rotfl: They do limit us to one horse so that may be a problem. 5 acre lots and beautiful and peaceful way up north in TV'S.

While you are all in NOTHING but a prayerful mood today, here's another one to add to your list -

That I don't end up spending the night in the Emergency Room. Poor hubby is in possible kidney stone mode. Right now he is resting while I'm praying for it to be only a false alarm. Unfortunately though, he's had enough to usually know when it's coming. Ouch!!

Yes, that's NOTHING but the main reason for the rush to the hospital. Besides plenty of fluids to try to push the stone through they're pumping him with pain meds trying to make it tolerable. We found one med (non-narcotic) that really helped to relieve the inflammation the first 2 times so that he didn't need to take much of the strong stuff, but the last time we went was really rough. NOTHING seemed to be working. I sure wish I could get him to drink more water overall, but I'm just the wife. :ohdear:

I swear if he keeps this up, I'm going to come home with an IV pole and fluids and start hanging bags on him myself......here comes Nurse Ratched. :22yikes:

Nucky 01-24-2019 05:02 PM

I'm just up from the bed myself. I will add in a couple of prayers for Mr. Abby, damn I seen people go through that but haven't had it yet.

I got sick from going to see the Dr. yesterday. So many people walking around with a mask covering NOTHING but their snout's. I feel like I've been hit by a train. The

good thing is this doesn't happen often cause there is so much else going on this flu ish feeling doesn't get a chance to jump in and get me.

Awww........we NOTHING but need to pray for you now too. Hate to think you would end up sick again after the last bout you had before Christmas. I think one time per season should be NOTHING but the absolute limit. for you, buddy.

"Mr Abby" (as Nucky calls him) is being NOTHING but a good patient and drinking plenty of fluids so maybe we will be able to manage this without a visit to the ER for a change. See, prayers do work.

Nucky hope you get some good rest tonight and feel NOTHING but better tomorrow. And praying things are going well in the K household.

Things over here have NOTHING but passed. In the ballpark of 24 hours for things to take its course. I hate drinking water also, hate it but when I'm keyed in on dieting its a must. Hope everybody has a good night.

Kenswing 01-24-2019 09:35 PM

Thanks for the prayers everyone. We're home and Mrs. K is doing fine. It was NOTHING but a crack up watching her come out of anesthesia.

Abby, Glad the old man is listening to you.

Nucky, glad you're doing okay too.

Atta Boy, glad things NOTHING but went well. If Mrs. K knew she was a little goofy you could use this to your advantage for a laugh once she has her act together again. Anesthesia is one tough son of a gun for yours truly. I can dig what was going on. Have a good night glad yous checked in. :a040:

Happy Friday hope today is NOTHING but everyone's lucky day. I can't believe that there is only one more week of January. Up north I would be in total hibernation mode but here there is just so much to do. I couldn't survive without my Google calendar.

NOTHING but good to hear. Mr Abby is resting comfortably with no middle of the night wake up pain so hopefully this too has passed - be it literally or figuratively. He has been suffering with sacroiliac joint dysfunction for almost a year now so who knows if the pain may even be related to that. We're trying to get him into PT to try to correct it, but it's the usual healthcare fiasco. The doctor wants him to see someone who specializes in it and we found someone, but of course that will require additional authorization by the doctor to see him. In the meantime, we have to make sure no one in network is available. We're actually hoping he ends up having to go to the first place we found though because it is managed by a very good friend of ours who we really trust and will expedite his eval and treatment. I would just like to see him be able to walk again......he's getting so frustrated.

Anyway, today is Friday, January 25th. A new day and hopefully one with more NOTHING and less something going on.

If we could only go back 50 yrs and see how much we were damaging our bodies by doing some of the stupid stuff we did. I love the old saying "We grow too soon old and too late smart"
NOTHING but the truth there.

Of course some of it is just the growing old too soon part. :(

I really never thought I'd make it this long. They said NOTHING but quit Smoking, get away from me I said. They said NOTHING but quit Drinking, get away from me I said. Can't you guys see I'm busy trying to make a living so we can live the Lifestyle of the Rich And Famous? Oh yeah, lose some tonnage big boy, get away from me before I barbeque you. LOL, Just a joke. I didn't listen to those who loved me. Shame on me. No tears just go on from here!

When all the dust settled here we are dealing with medical issues. The good thing in my experience Abby is that the Primary Doctors down here are Primo. Once you get sent to a Specialist it's Pot Luck, spin the wheel of chance, maybe a Hero maybe a Zero. I have a long list of Doctors to pick from. You have to work with UHC and things always work out.

I made an appointment with an Orthopedist yesterday and the best I could get for a Doctor that isn't considered a Vet was mid-February. This is part of the deal down here. I could travel if I want but the issue is just a nuisance not a Red Alert. I love the idea of local Doctors :super: and do respect them greatly.

Got NOTHING to add to that except getting appointments here are about the same way. Need to go to the optometrist, Feb 19th. Need to go to the dentist. Made appt. last week for Feb 7th. At least we have a good urgent care close by.

I NOTHING but agree. In fact, in hearing you and Nucky's appt dates, I think it's even worse here. The only way or reason we get fast appts is because we have connections and we don't use them unless it's really serious. Otherwise, you're talking months, many months, to get an appt with a specialist.

I guess I'm in between the 2 extremes. I wouldn't get restless as quickly as Mrs K. I could tolerate a day or 2 just to read or do puzzles or play phone guitar - lol. That was the new fun thing my husband showed me today. But after about 2 days, I'd be going nuts. My husband on the other hand cranked out all day yesterday because he couldn't do anything and announced at 6pm that he had cabin fever. :ohdear: Funny thing was when I got up this morning he was all happy and looked so much better so I said I guess you're feeling better. Apparently he found a new way to relieve the pain from the sacroiliac dysfunction by researching it online. It was the simplest thing and what made him mad was that not one doctor he saw mentioned it. He heard it from a holistic doctor on you-tube and it works. So he has been NOTHING but off and running all day today. I hope he comes home with less energy tonight because I'm exhausted from scrubbing bathrooms, Nucky-style, all afternoon. :faint:

Glad to hear Mrs K is doing so well - that's the most important thing.

Well, apparently if you have these binding straps and he does (I mean who has stuff like that lying around the house?), if you position them properly and brace the area it forces it into proper alignment. Apparently it's the first step you should take in helping the joint re-position itself correctly since it's all about PT and physical manipulation of the area anyway. All I know is he put that on and not only had immediate relief but he NOTHING but slept all night with no pain.
