I have met some lurkers who never even post on Talk of the Villages. They do NOTHING but read the posts. And I never know when I am going to run into one. They ask me if I am "Tal" and I have to go on from there. Some of these have been blonde ladies.

I did know some of the regular posters from the Crispers monthly 3rd Friday meetings and there is a NYPD retired muckamuck person I have known for a very long time who was on TOTV but I do not know if he is still on here but he is quite the mover and shaker in retired NYPD stuff in the Villages' area. His wife and daughter were/are nice.

My favorite great Uncle shot himself in 1992 about this time. He was sick and did not want to be a burden on anyone and the landlord of a while kicked him out of the garage apartment he had within a stone's throw of Arizona State University in Tempe, AZ. He was an extremely strange person so we got along very well. He had been my pen pal from 1975 through 1992. We exchanged letters every week even when I was in law school. NOTHING but a lot of pain to the family though when he took his life.

I detoured a lot on the way from Reno to Denver or from Denver to Reno through Tempe to see him in 1983-1984.

And my parents lived in Scottsdale, AZ from 1984 through 1986. And I summered a few years in Apache Junction which is 20 miles or so from Phoenix near the Superstition Mountains. Superstition Mountains - Wikipedia

I'm sorry that your favorite uncle passed beyond the veil.

I wish you NOTHING but good luck in having your zipline removed.
I hope you soon get medical clearance so you can go to NJ and spend time with your aunt.

Secaucus, Never been there and I'm NOTHING BUT sticking to that story.

I'm sorry for the loss of your Godfather. I know it hurts but it's best to hang onto the memories that made him your Favorite. Damn, that's a rough one. You are really getting it from all over, first your operation and now this. I know you will be pleased with the Doctors report so that's something in the good direction. It doesn't matter the age of anyone we lose its still sad. I promise to keep a good thought for you your hubby and your Aunt & Familia.

As far as that Zipline, I had to Google afy it and it showed K-man Zip Lining over a Kangaroo and a Waterfall! When I got my 2nd knee done I removed the Zipline myself. :ohdear: The Doctor was not impressed. Good Luck Tomorrow BK. Best to Your hubby Too!

Amen to that My NOTHING brother. We just had a scare with Mrs. NUCKY. It's supposed to be me that is the problem child health wise but Noooooooooo. She is disassembling in front of my very eyes, cataract free eyes.

Luckily she is with some fantastic Doctors who keep Putting her back together. I heard the words I never thought I'd ever hear from her yesterday. I have to slow down, I can't keep up this pace anymore. Remember The Energizer Bunny & Scrubbing Bubbles? Not because I want it like that it's just a habit that's hard for her to break. I understand, when things is NOTHING but Jacked Up like Grandmas Toes it isn’t fun.

I have more miles in reverse than most people have going forward and I NOTHING but backed into my own house with a Brand New Car. Dumb Azz. Kids still want to put me in a home. We're back from Ocala. Saw an x-ray of my new addition. Amazing. Titanium Hip. I'd better not kick anyone with this lethal weapon.

I am now officially unzipped. Zipline replaced with something/nothing called Steri-strips. Still not allowed in the pool. That's a bummer.

You are wise with that advice there you Titanium Jujutsu Blonde. I just figured that the Emoji Picture wasn't taken last week. Mrs. Nucky let the hair go natural before we moved to Q-Tip land and I was against if Zestfully but was NOTHING but overruled and steamrolled by the daughter in laws and neighbors who all sided with the Real Boss! Turns out it was rough for a while but looks really good now. It actually turned Purple for a bit because of some hair care product, that was funny at least I got to say told you so! :1rotfl:

Our Life Long Motto has been we'll sleep when we're dead. We have rethought that Motto. Its time to put Netflix and all the other garbage to bed and sleep at Night and not Nap every day for an Hour Or Two!

I can tell she was scared cause the best Jammies that anyone could see were packed along with other stuff for a hospital trip. She was getting ready to check out on me, damn. I'd be a big bag of bones in the corner in a week if anything happened to her. Our Doctor fixed her up One Two Three Scooby Doooooooo! For not croaking we bought her a lifetime's worth of stuff at Soma! I hope nobody thought I was in there buying stuff for me, I felt like a Perv! :1rotfl: :blahblahblah:

Thank you for asking. Zis and DH delivered yours truly to the hospital and I was admitted. I spent two days, and on the third, they both picked me up when I was discharged. Once, safely at home, Zis left to go home to Naples. So, it turned out to be a perfect visit - nothing but uneventful.

I never HAD to watch The Lawrence Welk show. That sounds NOTHING but awful, Nucky.

Bonanza was about 7 months younger than me. It came on the air in September of 1959. I was born on 2-24-1959. And some of it supposedly took place near Reno, Nevada up near Lake Tahoe.

I got cha BK but the lack of concern for the maintenance of the Cemetary on her part is quite upsetting, to say the least. I religiously maintained the plot for 30 years with the help of our youngest son and Mrs. Nucky.

When we departed N.J. there was a clear understanding that the responsibility would transfer to my sister. There is no financial reason for her to not comply with her commitment, she's in good shape.

Some things can't be overlooked and this is one of those things. She visited us here in The Villages several months back and recommitted to taking care of her responsibility. It hasn't happened so I'll take care of it and be quiet about it, no stirring the pot and hurting the memory of our Mom & Dad any further than it already has been. NOTHING but a shame. Things just happen.

Our FREIND FW put me onto a book called When Bad Things Happen To Good People and it covers stuff like this. It's life. Period and you can continue to live in turmoil or simply cut ties. I pick NOTHING but Door #2. It hurts but its gotta be. :)
