I am very humble and grateful that this particular gift was given to me. I don't take it for granted either cause it can leave in the blink of an eye. I always have a plan and never leave myself without an escape hatch from any situation that puts the #1 thing in my life in danger.

Our Wedding Anniversary is April 12th. Several years back I got the two Anniversaries bass akwards, it wasn't good but it wasn't World War III either because of the other Anniversary.

I'm still under construction and construction will end the day I go in the ground. Hopefully a long while from now. Old skills that are poor still come up now and then but its a lot better living this way. Have a Great Day Eh! Later Gators!

We don't want it to get NOTHING but to dry out yonder! I remember worrying last year, don't wanna see that again.

I was getting ready to post on a thread that I was observing all day. As I NOTHING but started Mrs. Nucky found an Emergency Sale on Bathing Suits @ Frederick's of Lady Lake Fl. By the time we got back, the thread was closed and I'm frustrated slightly because I had the ultimate answer to the obvious problem. Now nobody will ever find out now :1rotfl: no way. The only way I can be bribed to tell the answer is by someone coughing up a Concrete Mixer from Culvers.:1rotfl:

The very next thread I looked at was closed also. I did notice that several posters are always at the scene of the crime when a thread is rendered closed. Why do you think that is? Could it be a Co-Winky- Dink? I think not. :ohdear:

One other thought. Do the letters put together such as PM have any real meaning? I think it means a PRIVATE MESSAGE. I would guess some people just don't get it. I guess PM means NOTHING.

Perfectly Mad
Possibly Meanngful
Pre-Menstrual
Potentially Maniacal
Probably Mischievous
Post-Menopausal
Petty Meanderings

Just call me a Nerd for NOTHING - lol. Good stuff, Tal. Boy, they are really flooding out of New York, aren't they? I'm quite surprised at the high number from PA as well. Taxes aren't as bad here as some states but I think it could be a pretty boring existence staying here as a senior especially in the winter months.

On the other hand, I wonder how many of the Florida number are really transplants from other places - moved to other parts of Florida first, then relocated to TV.

Kenswing 04-11-2019 09:32 AM

Ok Nucky,

You have asked (at least twice) who are my favorite comedians. So here goes nothing:

In my younger days I loved Erma Bombeck. Not a comedian but a humorist. "If I had my Life to Live Over" by Erma Bombeck - Golden Nugget #165 - YouTube . and, in her own voice: One Size Fits All - YouTube

Along those lines I adore Jeanne Robertson. One of her best routines is "Don't send a man to the grocery store!". You can see it here: Jeanne Robertson "Don't send a man to the grocery store!" - YouTube

I loved much of George Carlin's material especially the classic one about stuff: George Carlin - Stuff - YouTube

Tina Fey tina fey the mark twain prize speech - YouTube

I can't say I like all of her acts, but I do enjoy some of Sarah Silverman routines.

And, at the risk of alienating myself and losing any hope of continued TOTV friendships, any of the hundreds of political song parodies by Randy Rainbow. Here's one done to the musical Oklahoma OMAROSA! A Randy Rainbow Song Parody - YouTube

I am not sure I have met another Washingtonian here in the Villages in the almost 14 years we have been here in the Villages and 23 years in FL.

There were a few hundred volunteers at the two Palm Harbor Libraries I volunteered at 10-14 hours per week in 2000-2003. I talked to almost all the 200 or so people at one time or another. Or it NOTHING but seems like it.

My double cousin lived in Bellingham, WA back around 1989-1994 or so before moving to Yakima.

I met a couple from the state of Washington when I was visiting the Fenney area a year or so ago. They lived down the street from the open house I was checking out. We got to talking and they kept encouraging me to buy on their street. Really nice couple and neighbors anyone would probably enjoy living next to. Hopefully others we know from WA are that nice. :icon_wink: Of course, they may not be as excited to have me as their neighbor.......dealing with me on NOTHING may be all they can handle. :1rotfl:

Since BK has been posting jokes, here is one that is NOTHING but hilarious IMHO.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A teacher gave her fifth grade class an assignment over the march break: Get their parents to tell them a story with a moral at the end of it.

The next day, the kids came back and, one by one, began to tell their stories. There were all the regular types of stuff: spilled milk and pennies saved. But then the teacher realized, much to her dismay, that she had missed Janie.

Janie, do you have a story to share?'

''Yes ma'am. My daddy told me a story about my Mommy.
She was a Marine pilot in Desert Storm, and her plane got hit.
She had to bail out over enemy territory, and all she had was a flask of whiskey, a pistol, and a survival knife.
She drank the whiskey on the way down so the bottle wouldn't break, and then her parachute landed her right in the middle of 20 Iraqi troops. She shot 15 of them with the pistol, until she ran out of bullets, killed four more with the knife, till the blade broke, and then she killed the last Iraqi with her bare hands.

''Good Heavens,' said the horrified teacher.
'What did your Daddy tell you was the moral to this horrible story?

"Stay away from Mommy when she's been drinking."

I'd be on my way but we have two obstrickles I mean obstaricians, I mean two gynok, ah forget it. I NOTHING but couldn't get a ticket in time. We just got back from Taco Bell with the Chulupa Sample Box. Not to bad but it tastes a little like Vietnamese food. I'd rather have the Pork!

I was on fire today helping a friend fix a Windows 95 HP computer. Then hooking up his AT&T wireless house phones to his cell phone. Yup. I am not really sure how I did that but I'm relentless.

Just when I thought I was in the clear he said how about one more thing, sure bring it on. His Samsung SIII was trying to download a English Language Program for over a year. I YouTubed it and transported the phone home and signed into my WiFi and Bada Bing, it fixed itself in under a minute. It feels so good when things go smoothly. Not everything is troubling. Utah-- 24; Wisconsin-- 1,641; Washington-- 180; Maine-- 529.

Villages households which hail from these six states are listed in today's The Villages Daily Sun on A4 and for NOTHING.

Delaware-- 309.

One of my favorite people I met here in the Villages used to run a freight yard in northern DE. Does not seem to be much into train shows here in the Villages though.

Georgia-- 915.

Maine-- 529.

Utah-- 24.

Washington-- 180.

Wisconsin-- 1, 641.
