One of the cashiers at a Villages' area Publix noticed a grain of rice or something on the counter where they bag the groceries.

She looked around with the ba**er's help and they found a hole in the corner of a Voila Mongolian Beef bag I had just purchased. So the ba**er went to get another one for me to take home.

Nice people at Publix! I have been going to one or more of these stores since we moved to Palm Harbor, FL in 1996. There was one up the road from us at the corner of Alderman and US 19 there. Just a short walk really. And a Blockbusters across the street and not for NOTHING. Starting using Publixes here in the Villages when I moved here with my parents in 2005 from Palm Harbor.

But would go back whenever some Palm Harbor friends wanted me to house-sit. She had been a realtor and prior to that a CIA analyst. He a realtor and US Navy LT. Commander.

Sometimes give $6.13 or $2.24 when it would let me give that amount online. A check would sometimes go out for $2.24 and a U of MN law student would often call me to say Thanks and sometimes laugh at the level of my generosity.

I limited the gift to the Legal Clinics there and said I had been in Legal Assistance to Minnesota Prisoners which I was. First as a student and then a Student Director for Legal Assistance to Minnesota Prisoners. The room I was in had a Co-Student Director as we handled Minnesota Correctional Facility-Stillwater.
