We lived in Palm Harbor, FL from 1996-2005 before moving to the Villages. That is between Clearwater and Tarpon Springs on the Gulf Coast of FL. I do really miss the ocean but not the threat of hurricanes. I used to go the beach almost every other week. Tarpon Springs' beach. Honeymoon Island, and various other beaches.

Saw number 24 from the U of MN get a touchdown tonight. Pretty cool. My neighbor is a U of Michigan fan. I went to the U of MN for my law degree and then worked in their law library for two years after that. Had been an employee for the law library starting the middle of my second year in law school. Had also been in work/study in the History and Travel Department at the Minneapolis Public Library my 2nd year of law school.

Will have to check the score to see if the U of MN takes home the Little Brown Jug and not for NOTHING.

I worked summers from around 1977-1982 for a food service which had concessions at Idlewild Park's softball diamonds and Bower's Mansion snack bar. The winter of 1983 at Sky Tavern's food service for lunch and snacks for the Junior Ski Program.

Rohnert Park, CA had the Red Lion Inn as it was called back in the 1990s where there would often be a few movie production trucks parked for the filming of movie scenes in that part of Northern CA.

I had some strange conversations as the Red Lion Inn was a few hundred feet from our back yard fence. A golf course green separated us.

The last I looked the Red Lion Inn is now a Hilton.

Northern California has some truly beautiful scenery. NOTHING but worth a trip. Miss San Francisco a lot.
