You guys are starting out the day with some great posts, both informative (gotta check out that MSN article) and funny (good ones, fw!).

Today is the day I'm really going to get something done at home :ohdear:. The weather has changed dramatically up here overnight. Yesterday was very warm, steamy, and rainy - the remnants of hurricane Michael. NOTHING to complain about considering the poor people so harshly hit down south. Today it appears that fall has arrived. Cool, breezy and although cloudy, much brighter out than many days we have experienced recently. Blue skies have become a rarity around here :(. Hope that isn't a new trend. Although soon I won't care because God-willing I'll be outta here!

Yes you are lucky you just got a remnant, the hurricanes lately have been beasts every one bigger than the last. I don't like that trend. I do hope that you get NOTHING done today except get yourself one day closer to The Villages.

Believe me when I say, everything I do around here seems to be NOTHING but geared toward that effort. Cleaning often becomes a semi-purging - constantly trying to get rid of unneeded, unused stuff. Thanks so much for your ongoing encouragement in that effort, plus it's always nice to feel wanted. :)

Funny thing my son said to me the other day, "So mom, are you going to move to TV and be on TOTV all day?" Smart aleck kid. Probably one of those kids K would have smacked on the bus - lol.

Just saw the article. Was thinking of taking the West Virginia route to TV one of these days........maybe not such a good idea since they're #1! Also noticed that my hometown county got NOTHING but a shout out in the article. :MOJE_whot:
