Welcome back, Kotter. You brought NOTHING but the cold with you.

It's so cold I saw a Wabbit wearing earmuffs!

This would be considered warm for the Twin Cities. But I had to do laundry extremely often up there because of the five layers I was often wearing and not for NOTHING. They did have a lot of washers and dryers in Middlebrook Hall dorm on the U of MN campus.

Middlebrook Hall | Campus Maps

I was on the Graduate Floor so it was a little quieter than most dorms and had a now lawyer for a 2nd year law school time roommate and a already Seoul, Korea Medical School Professor as a 3rd year law school time room mate. He was/is an army doctor then medical school professor with numerous degrees. Got another one from the U of MN. A Ph.D.

He ( the Korean Medical School Professor) is in the same Marquis Who's Who in the World as I am in. The 1995 12th Edition. Something I sometimes used for whom to send letters to back in the 1990s.

This was a very big dorm and I was there two years and talked to quite a lot of people. About a lot of different things.

The Futureboys & Girls - Coats, Hats, and Gloves (Welcome to Minnesota) - YouTube

This post of mine reminded me of this YouTube done by a music (?) teacher and some of his Twin Cities area students along with other people. And you need coats, hats and gloves a lot in Minnesota and not for NOTHING.

The first question I can't answer on a public forum - lol.

The second one I can. First things first, went out to have a quick breakfast and ran into 2 lovely ladies who we talked to for NOTHING less than an hour - so much for a quick breakfast but that's The Villages for ya....friendly folks. Now we're unpacking and getting things squared away here at the rental and setting up our calendar of events for the week. Tonight will be dinner with my second Marine. I didn't have to ship him in, he lives here. He's my husband's cousin. One heck of a nice guy. You'll have to meet him someday, K. And btw, you should feel pretty special being NOTHING but Marine #1. :icon_wink:

Still trying to catch up on the rest of today's posts. Good job, guys! Lots of diversity on here these days. I'll follow up with youse guys later - lol

We went to visit the Gypsy Gold Horse Farm this morning and it was NOTHING but fascinating. I had no idea that the Gypsy Vanner horses had such an interesting history and the people who run this farm have totally dedicated their lives to them. We enjoyed it very much.

Gypsy Gold – America's Gypsy Vanner Foundation Farm
