K Man, I went to a guys house in the Northern end of the Villages two summers ago and was there to buy the man's flagpole. A very important item for me. He was out doing his lawn and it was a larger lot and he was NOTHING but 85 years old.

I swear he didn't look a day over 65. He was selling his flagpole because he sold the house to someone who was 91 who wanted to upsize to his house but didn't like some of the items on the property. It was a dream come true but transportation was on me but the price couldn't be beaten. It had the rope to raise the flag on the inside of the pole. I never heard back from that nice man. He said it was NOTHING more than his decision to move here that saved his life and let him live so long.

What a beautiful thing and conversations like this are commonplace and similar around this joint! Thank God for this place! :clap2:

I really don't want to move. This is our 21st or 22nd house. We lived in all but a few of them so we are pros at moving and I never had any feeling's about any house but thinking about leaving this one is a real killer. Couldn't be more perfectly suited for us. It is very Humble. I like the feeling of not flashing anymore like up north. Life is more comfortable this way. But when the big storms come its NOTHING but an eye-opener. We'll see what happens. At least I get a Woofer outta the deal! :clap2:

The one thing I'm really looking forward to other than the weather is having actual neighbors. Out here in the "country" we're so spread out that we hardly see NOTHING of each other.

Then again I'm guessing it might take some adjusting to being stacked on top of your neighbors. I've never lived in a community that you can walk from rooftop to rooftop. And I'm guessing I'll get in trouble for "watering" the plants like I can here.. :faint:

Closeness of houses does vary a bit from Village to Village. That is based on NOTHING other than my travelling around in different Villages over the past 12.5 years or so.

Another reason we love our CYV, we are still close but maintain some privacy.

Nucky, the flagpole was one of the first things we did when we got here it was NOTHING but essential to my hubby also. Ours collapses to put the flag up and down.

It is one of the most important thing to take care of. We NOTHING but love the Flag Pole Store on 441 in Lady Lake. You can surrender your old flag there for proper handling and the people are very nice and their prices are reasonable. This is one thing I prefer to buy in person rather than use Amazon.

K-Man, the people who have a house for sale in their neighborhood are rooting for the person who would be the new owners, You, to be NOTHING of a sort of Party Animal. Our property is not very big but we are not close at all footage wise to the neighbors.

I'm glad to hear a positive response about a CYV from Mrs. FW and Tal. There is only one little thing I am accustomed to now. Looking out the window when we eat. But the positives NOTHING but outweigh the one negative.

Mrs. FW, how do you handle it when a neighbor needs to maintain their house from your yard? There must be some kind of understanding in place.

So much activity on here I can hardly keep up with it. Glad to see it though. I'm really struggling with sleep. Not because I'm uncomfortable or anxious - NOTHING like that - but I get so rammy down here, I don't want to miss a minute of my time sleeping. I think I'm driving my husband crazy though. He sent me to my room yesterday and told me I had to get some rest - lol.

The good news is we're both loving our time here. Today we're going into LSL to take care of some business and then maybe heading down to Fenney. I'd like to check out the walking trails down there. We're also hoping to catch up with our sales agent to start looking into whether we want to purchase another place or not. Which brings me to Nucky - good grief, Charlie Brown - you're more rammy than me! Lol Like me you seem to enjoy the house hunt and like you I dread the move. My only advice to you is keep your eye on the prize and don't be distracted by that Mini-Cooper for sale. :icon_wink:

We are very lucky, our neighbors are wonderful and everyone gets along nicely. We allow them whatever access they need to our property and they do likewise.

It would have been in the Golf Cart Garage already. What a buy that is. What a beautiful Mini-Cooper color that is. Looks like Mint.

Your head is going to be spinning once you see the Fenney area. It is spectacular. Good NOTHING but luck. You will sleep after looking at houses all day trust me. Bring your checkbook this is an easy one. :1rotfl:

Fenney is beautiful but not for everyone. It is NOTHING but personal preference and it is good that not everyone wants the same thing. I think the the Fenney area is going to be a good fit for K but I could be wrong and by the time he gets here it is going to be very different from what it is today.

By the time we get there Fenney might be the in the center of TV at the rate they're building. lol

A little drive to the amenities means NOTHING to us. Other than the little general store on the lake and a few coffee stands there is NOTHING closer than 7 miles to us as far as shopping and services..

I would have NOTHING but hated living there. I am such a city girl and want everything to be walking distance (or now golf cart distance)

:1rotfl::1rotfl: DON'T FORGET TO YELL TO THE PEOPLE IN FENNEY BECAUSE IT'S SO FAR AWAY! What a bunch of NOTHING but bull that is. If it's where you live it's to far away from what.

Really tick's me off when someone makes fun of the area where another lives. Even about N.J. I do it in a playful manor. Strickly.:faint:

It's going to be lonely up in Chatham Acres for a while but we'll live through it! :1rotfl::1rotfl:
