The Suspense is NOTHING but killing me.

Had to update woody the woodpecker first but got to it. The view count updates around 8:55. Each hour it is updated around that time but closer to the 56th minute, it seems like and not for NOTHING.

I do not think my fellow woodpecker bird watchers read the NOTHING thread. They do not seem big of computers as most of my friends seem to avoid Facebook and Talk of the Villages and the like.

They are some who do look at NOTHING though but do not post as far as I know.

Hoping your day continues to get NOTHING but betterer..

Any idea how long it will take to find out if the Bagel Dog is going to make it? The wait is NOTHING but the worst.

An Alternative to Worry | Our Daily Bread

So I'll take that as one of my lessons this time around.

I know you were addressing Nucky in this post but what I highlighted was exactly the source of my worry and distress these past 4+ days. We, meaning hubby and I, have dealt with losing plenty of loved ones over the years. All of the generation before us is gone except this one last uncle. In fact, in one 2 year period we counted 7 close family members who had passed on. That's when we accepted that it can come at any time, at any age, to anyone, for any reason - sometimes expected and at others it was tragically sudden. But I have never been in a position like this current one where there was a very specific time frame of waiting for the verdict. It was 4 days of hell, to say the least, and by the 3rd day I was pretty much reduced to NOTHING. I could have lived with the result - do you have a choice? - but it was the waiting....

So I thank you all again for the support and caring you provided through that time. If NOTHING else, even by just giving me the time and space I needed. And by carrying on with NOTHING was also a big comfort even if I didn't feel up for participating. I don't know how I got so blessed to find a bunch of NOTHINGS like all of you, but instead of questioning it, I'm just gonna run with it. Love you guys.

I've been doing a different kind of NOTHING organizing our music files and making a playlist for Alexa. She can be fun but she also requires a bit of maintenance to get her to do all of the things that you want from her. Just as computers were supposed to reduce the amount of paper and now there is more paper usage than ever. :ohdear:

Even though it's been more than 15 years now, nothing can bring me in going through...losing another dog. :(

Spike & Ruby were both rescues and in spite of over $5,000 in surgeries for Ruby (note the edge of the steps at the very bottom of the photo, that she needed to get up on anything)...there was never a question of trying to help her.

Just be ready though, to try and stop (I couldn't) your 'Bagel'...from trying to sleep between your legs every night.

The new King of the house should be with us before NOTHING but Saturday. Could be tomorrow. The pups in your picture are pretty close to the size and color of our New King. They really are fine animal's and the heartache of a loss kept me from getting the one who just passed for about 10 years.

I totally respect immensely the decision to not go thru the pain again, I can dig it. I was thinking the same way. I had a friend tell me one day what a waste it was for somebody who loves them the way we do to not take a chance. I thought about it and planted the seed for my wife to see it the way I did. It took more than 6 months and it was a go then a no go and back and forth several times.

It's because it was meant to be that this dog was meant to be with us. Someone let him out of their car and drove away. This is not possible in my little world. Must be a really desperate person who did this. I had a German Sheppard or a CFRANE dog in mind, not something so little.

Anyway, I went today for visitation and the entire section of CellBlock 8 was howling to beat the band until Eight saw his new Daddy and not one peep outta him the rest of the time I was with him. The others didn't stop with the sideshow!

Man I'm so happy now I have no words for this feeling, maybe this is pure JOY, I dunno. NOTHING could be Betterererer! :1rotfl::1rotfl::1rotfl:

I'm gonna go get Eight a new Posturpedic bed and a Baby Carriage and teach him how to save chairs at the square, NOT! :1rotfl::1rotfl: Just the bed! EIGHT :mademyday:.
