I have seen a lot of Shakespeare (the Bard) plays and audited a Shakespeare course at the University of Nevada, Reno. I saw the Bard's plays at a lot of different places. Near Lake Tahoe, in San Francisco, and in Minneapolis. |

I think students might be studying his works in the future. He is no William Shakespeare however. Who is? It does take a lot of work to really understand Shakespeare's works and his influence on many countries seminal writers. |

Good morning all,
Looking forward to nothing less than another beautiful day in The Villages. And, a very Happy Birthday Tal. Are you doing anything special to celebrate? |
Happy Birthday, Tal, hope its a great one for you. It's a good day to relax and enjoy the 30th anniversary of your 29th Birthday. I hope someone gives you a Half Gallon of Your Favorite Hagen Daz Flavor. And NOTHING but a couple of Humongous Lobsters!

Been watching A Star is Born from 2018 on Blu-Ray. I do see this song as winning the Oscar tonight but it seems to be about the only sure-thing. Lady Gaga, Bradley Cooper - Shallow (A Star Is Born) - YouTube |

1. Tal: Happy birthday, I wish you NOTHING but the best for the coming year, good health, good friends, good days and good nights.
2. Yes the Lady took her own life. I'd just finished reading a chapter in a book about WWII and had the horrors of war in my head when I "misspoke", as it were. 3. I love me a good murder mystery as well. I get Amazon Reads books every month for $1.99 each, on new releases by obscure authors. Mostly I've been selecting historic fiction that takes me all around the world, from North and South Korea, to Ireland, Alaska, the African slave trade, and currently, the Holocaust in Poland during WWII (Clara's War, by Clara Kramer). I still like Chaucer though. And Shakespeare. There's NOTHING like a good book to take you away from your troubles. Except perhaps music. Music has charms to soothe the savage breast. But I read that in a book too :) |
