I'm supposed to be helping my son with some moving today but since he was at an all day event yesterday and didn't get home until the wee hours of the morning, on top of today being Super Bowl Sunday, I'm wondering how far that plan will go. I might get to sit here and finish up my tax stuff instead - yippee! My life is filled with way too much fun.
I expected this year to be NOTHING but a busy one with all the changes as we gear up for a different lifestyle ahead. So a mixture of being excited one minute and feeling overwhelmed the next is probably not unusual. Looking at it as an adventure and not expecting it to be a perfect journey helps to keep things in proper perspective.

Abby, I'm proud to announce that I'm having AARP in The Villages do Our Taxes at the end of this week at Colony.
It the greatest feeling when the Federal Part of the taxes are done and the computer says now we'll Transfer your information to your State return and then it says No state return as I do a test run on the taxes in the NOTHING but most beautifulest place that God ever created except for beyond the Pearly Gates.
I already did our taxes but so many swear by AARP so let's see what they come up with. Anything that makes things easier is good for me.
Funny thing. Turbotax said welcome back for your 12th consecutive year with us. Problem is We had an Accountant from the firm Run, Lie & Deny do our taxes for the last seven years so I was wondering how they came up with the 12-year remark? A friend told me that the accountant did our taxes with Turbotax and I looked thru the history that it provided and I'll be damned, Mr. Bigtime Accountant used Turbotax and the charged us big bucks to file for us. Oh well.
I NOTHING but looked thru the history and it was really something to see the damage in 2008/2009. Those were some NOTHING but really rough tough years, we are all survivors. :super: :1rotfl:
