Gas here at the Southern Trace Circle K is $2.249. Had to fill up on not for NOTHING. There are some movies I want to see this coming week as I stayed inside due to the cold most of last week and missed going to any last week.

I'm sorry, but being that we are having a "warm" day here at a high of 29 degrees and just spent the last 3 days with temps no highter than the teens, that came off as NOTHING but funny to me......:1rotfl:

Thanks to both of you for reminding me that my tank is almost empty and I need to get gas. If I don't get it at Costco, I usually run to Delaware which is at least 30 cents per gallon cheaper. Right now it's running about $2.10 down there. The gas price that Tal quoted is about 20 cents/gal higher than it was when we were in TV in Dec.

Bottom line is, boy are you in for a treat, K, moving from the left coast to the right one - lol. I'm sure you've already run some numbers for living in TV and see what a bargain it is compared to where many of us currently live or came from. I'm working on our taxes today and it is interesting to see the differences in the cost of services and taxes between our primary residence and our rental properties which are in 3 different states. When you consider everything including weather and what you get for the money, NOTHING compares to TV.

Yes, Our cost of living in TV will be NOTHING but a fraction of what it is here. Washington has the second highest fuel tax behind guess who? Yep, Pennsylvania. lol

Even the trades are a lot cheaper there. I see people biatching about what it costs to have a house painted or plumber or electrician come out and just have to laugh.

Gas is NOTHING but free at the Mexican Restaurant @ Colony. Outstanding place all the way around.

I think you may be a little shocked at everything being cheaper except one little thing, The Grocery Store. Not because I'm eating to much but the prices are higher.

Gas Buddy is NOTHING but useful.

I had to fill up because my gas gauge warning light was on and I want to get to Brownwood next week.

Been in Florida for 22.5 years so I am not used to temps below 60 very often. I froze my butt in December of 2001 because I flew to El Paso, Texas through Dallas with shorts on. And strangely flew back from El Paso to Dallas with a University of Texas at El Paso grad who wanted to know all about my interview with UTEP where I met their President, Head Librarian, Reference staff, and their professor in charge of their pre-law program. Do remember that their Head of Reference had worked at the NYPL in Manhattan or somewhere close to downtown NYC. The flight from Tampa went through Dallas.

I did spent late August through early December 1994 in Itasca, IL nursing my uncle Bill but the Fall in Chicagoland was rather mild. December 1994 is the last time I even saw snow at my feet.

Did see a lot of snow in Minneapolis from 1986 to late 1991. And in Denver in 1983-1984. And around Reno from 1970-1983.

How about the years when we could nothing but not get gas unless we waited in long lines. Odd and even gas rationing went by the last number on your license plate. Which meant I had to have two sets aoflicense plates to switch on my car. Nothing but a survivor of one rough time in New Jerkey.Hey KMan next time you have to post using your phone try using the little microphone down at the bottom and dictate your post. Good

I seem to recall that vaguely and not for NOTHING.

I recall when we were wondering when we would reach 200,000 on NOTHING. Think it was around mid December of 2018.

Sad that we are set to take over the numbers for the Three Word Sentence thread at some future date here on NOTHING but NOTHING seems more interesting to people now and GE seems to be missing-in-action.

I'll give that a try. Except I don't post from my phone unless it's NOTHING but the last resort.

I will have to figure out how to use TapaTalk and for NOTHING.

I usually only use my cell phone for family members and emergencies and to try to get my special female friend to smile. Though I have not heard from her in quite a long time and probably should be looking for some new female friend to try to make smile.
