I may be creating quite the storm in Minneapolis tonight and not for NOTHING. Not sure though. One can work wonders with social media like Facebook and earlier Findlaw (2002 to @ 2007) and some extremely creative friends. The U of MN does see my Facebook entries I would assume as would a lot of other libraries of all types across the US and elsewhere.

This is the weekend of my 30th U of MN Law School Class get together as well as the re-unions of many other U of MN Classes for various years. I was Class of 1989 and I had talked to some of these law students about various things while in Minneapolis back from 1986-1989 as well as later after I had graduated. My roommate/girlfriend of 1989-1990 was Class of 1990 U of MN Law. And I had had a lot of friends in the U of MN Clinical Legal Assistance to MN Prisoners.

Today is our 22nd Wedding Anniversary. I let Mrs. Nucky know to make the call on where we should go tonight. I have a feeling it would be either The Fin, Culvers or WaWa! How Flashy.

Good morning All,

So tell us N, where did you and P-N nothing but decide to go to celebrate?

There's an interesting article about victims' remembrance in Sumter County on The Villages Daily Sun's front page. The Sumter County victim's advocate kind of says that no two victims are alike which is also true in my experience but I define "victim/survivor" a lot more broadly than the state statutes would and not for NOTHING. Crime victims were remembered and... - The Villages Daily Sun | Facebook

Victims’ Families get comfort from event | News | thevillagesdailysun.com

Some crimes touch a lot of people in many ways others not all that much unfortunately. Often it is what cases catch the public's eye and/or the media and which do not.

The article also covers victims' rights here in Sumter County and it history.

And a lot of crimes are never reported for many reasons.

I recall some law students while I was at the U of MN would share with me their stories of crimes against them and they had not reported these to the authorities or just told friends about them. There was also the possibility that they were playing some kind of angle. That was the response a lot of people had to me when I tried to tell my own story to some of them. That I was playing them for some reason.

I had been thinking where would Nucky have taken his dear wife for their anniversary and not for NOTHING.

Taltarzac725 04-13-2019 08:10 AM

Watched a few more episodes of Longmire while donating platelets yesterday and not for NOTHING.

Longmire is quite a good show and I think that a few seasons are only available on Netflix. They could be out on Blu-Ray and DVD though as well.

Well we were all shined up and ready to roll and I asked NOTHING but how come your face doesn't look too good. :1rotfl: Momma was having a Flare-Up since early in the morning and was trying to hold it together until after dinner. We stayed home, no biggy. She was upset that we couldn't do NOTHING but now it's her taking care of me 1,000,000 times and me taking care of her twice. It's unbelievable that it's her that is sick and not me instead. I wish it was switched around.

Mrs. N has an appointment at a Specialist this week so let's face whatever this is and go get 'em. I'm not nervous at all and neither is Mrs. N we have great Insurance  and I'm not talking about Health Insurance. Thanks for asking BK. We just took a Rain Check.

She is NOTHING but tougher than nails. She will be fine. Better already this morning. That new medicine on TV Xeljanz is outta control pricewise. The Doctor she is going to see is rated very well by people that have seen him already. I have Faith! Now's the time to put it in gear. I'll take an easy solution to. Thanks, Abby!

A teacher gave her fifth grade class an assignment over the march break: Get their parents to tell them a story with a moral at the end of it.

The next day, the kids came back and, one by one, began to tell their stories. There were all the regular types of stuff: spilled milk and pennies saved. But then the teacher realized, much to her dismay, that she had missed Janie.

Janie, do you have a story to share?'

''Yes ma'am. My daddy told me a story about my Mommy.
She was a Marine pilot in Desert Storm, and her plane got hit.
She had to bail out over enemy territory, and all she had was a flask of whiskey, a pistol, and a survival knife.
She drank the whiskey on the way down so the bottle wouldn't break, and then her parachute landed her right in the middle of 20 Iraqi troops. She shot 15 of them with the pistol, until she ran out of bullets, killed four more with the knife, till the blade broke, and then she killed the last Iraqi with her bare hands.

''Good Heavens,' said the horrified teacher.
'What did your Daddy tell you was the moral to this horrible story?

"Stay away from Mommy when she's been drinking."

A little late in responding, but love this. NOTHING but a good one, Barefoot! :a20:

Nucky, if you, or in this case Mrs N, is not on a federal prescription program like govt job related or Social Security for your prescription drug coverage, always check on-line at the manufacturer's website for the brand name drug and you may be able to obtain a coupon, especially if there is no generic alternative available.

For example, I have eye drops that cost about $300.00 and my insurance copay is about $180.00, but by signing up on the manufacturer website for the drug I can enroll in a program where I get a coupon reduction so my copay is only $30.00 every time I fill it. Sometimes the doctors already have the info for these programs in their offices, but if not just do it yourself on-line.

For example, here's the info for the drug you mentioned. Hope this link NOTHING but works -

Financial Support | XELJANZ(R) (tofacitinib) For UC | Safety Info

This particular one actually offers financial assistance even for those on SS but is probably income restricted. The coupon cards that are available for commercial insurances for this drug are not income restricted. PM me if I just confused the heck out of you with this wordy post - lol

That is very useful information, Abby10. You should put that on the Medical thread too if you have not already? It is good for NOTHING but also quite useful elsewhere.
