This is the weekend of my 30th U of MN Law School Class get together as well as the re-unions of many other U of MN Classes for various years. I was Class of 1989 and I had talked to some of these law students about various things while in Minneapolis back from 1986-1989 as well as later after I had graduated. My roommate/girlfriend of 1989-1990 was Class of 1990 U of MN Law. And I had had a lot of friends in the U of MN Clinical Legal Assistance to MN Prisoners. |

There's an interesting article about victims' remembrance in Sumter County on The Villages Daily Sun's front page. The Sumter County victim's advocate kind of says that no two victims are alike which is also true in my experience but I define "victim/survivor" a lot more broadly than the state statutes would and not for NOTHING. Crime victims were remembered and... - The Villages Daily Sun | Facebook
Victims’ Families get comfort from event | News | thevillagesdailysun.com Some crimes touch a lot of people in many ways others not all that much unfortunately. Often it is what cases catch the public's eye and/or the media and which do not. The article also covers victims' rights here in Sumter County and it history. And a lot of crimes are never reported for many reasons. I recall some law students while I was at the U of MN would share with me their stories of crimes against them and they had not reported these to the authorities or just told friends about them. There was also the possibility that they were playing some kind of angle. That was the response a lot of people had to me when I tried to tell my own story to some of them. That I was playing them for some reason. |

Watched a few more episodes of Longmire while donating platelets yesterday and not for NOTHING.
Longmire is quite a good show and I think that a few seasons are only available on Netflix. They could be out on Blu-Ray and DVD though as well. |

For example, I have eye drops that cost about $300.00 and my insurance copay is about $180.00, but by signing up on the manufacturer website for the drug I can enroll in a program where I get a coupon reduction so my copay is only $30.00 every time I fill it. Sometimes the doctors already have the info for these programs in their offices, but if not just do it yourself on-line. For example, here's the info for the drug you mentioned. Hope this link NOTHING but works - Financial Support | XELJANZ(R) (tofacitinib) For UC | Safety Info This particular one actually offers financial assistance even for those on SS but is probably income restricted. The coupon cards that are available for commercial insurances for this drug are not income restricted. PM me if I just confused the heck out of you with this wordy post - lol |

That is very useful information, Abby10. You should put that on the Medical thread too if you have not already? It is good for NOTHING but also quite useful elsewhere. |
