[Uptown Girl]

I have wondered if there would be interest in open studio time (at one of the rec centers) devoted to class exercises in oil. Timed studies with a model, or a collective still life we could all paint from different perspectives, perhaps.
Full color or limited palette…. whatever gear is easy to transport.

No formal instruction, just opportunity to explore our own and other's methods and to do something old school, that I see is not being offered currently.

I haven't yet researched what kind of block of time we could obtain (one hour is not enough), or how many people we would need to be considered for a time slot. (I have never organized a rec center activity here)

Just thought I'd see if any TOTV members who paint in oil (are there any besides myself?) might have an interest…. or could run it by any painter friends you may know? It's worth a shot!
