Default When I die .....

When I die, I want to go peacefully in my sleep, like my grandmother did... instead of screaming and yelling like the passengers in her car.

just like your picture (Carlin). Funny, yet disturbing at the same time.

Good one!

I've always thought that a "good death" would involve the entire Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders squad and a swimming pool full of lime Jell-O.

Pretty sure I've heard that one as "Not like grandpa and his bus full of passengers."

I had their poster inside my homeroom locker, Originally I had the famous farah fawcett poster, but the administration complained. When they did a locker check the following month I still had the Farah Fawcett poster, however this time there were two strategically placed bandaids. They took the poster and I got two weeks detention.

On a more serious but potentially useful note: I just bought a book titled "I'm Dead. Now What?" Not morbid at all, but rather a compendium of things to do to enable your heirs or estate to take care of your belongings, business affairs, financial assets, wishes, etc., after you pass. They walk you through all the important stuff like personal info, key contacts, documents, plans to handle pets, how to handle email and social media accounts, last words, etc. I remain in great health and do not expect to pass soon, but when I do I now don't expect to leave a mess for anyone. Perhaps some of our readers would find it useful as well.

Once-in-a-lifetime memory…

As a former Minnesotan I was a diehard Vikings fan (not an especially rewarding experience…). Anyway back in 1975 a friend scared up two tickets to the Vikings - Dallas Cowboys playoff game that was to determine the Super Bowl entry from the National Conference. Cold December day in Minnesota, the game held in rickety old Metropolitan Stadium. Anyway, I’m walking into the stadium. There wasn’t much security in those days and all of a sudden I’m surrounded by these really gorgeous, really tall women all dressed the same. Yep. The Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders squad!

Best part of the day, actually. The Vikings lost on the original Hail Mary Pass. 4th and 17 from the 50 yard line, about 17 seconds to go and Staubach connects for a TD pass.
