They did our curbing and landscaping about 10 months ago and did a fabulous job. On time, great price, and on schedule.

There are at least 2 businesses that do the Kwik Kerb curbing technique.

Dan Pope, a fireman out of Ocala, did ours about 5 years ago and it was a great experience.

I believe this All American is a different group.

Just wanted folks to know that Kwik Kerb is a franchised technique and not all businesses are the same.

Sorry the OP had a bad experience.

I believe there are more than 2 Kwik Kerb franchised working in the Villages. But to clearify, All American is the one that did our's.

Go to thier website the dealers are making $120,000 a year.

If that's the case what are they charging for this stuff.
What did you pay?

From their website.

Kwik Kerb sells for $7 to $14 per linear foot
Materials cost $1 to $1.20 per foot
Labor and overhead cost about $1 per foot
Therefore profit margin is $5 to $12 per foot
You can install 200 to 300+ feet per day
Gross profit is $1000 to $3000 approximately per day.
That equals more than $100 per hour!

Done another way

I looked at their web site and didn't see the figures you quote, Jimbo. Maybe I missed it somehow.

The business is described as not being a franchise. It sounds like if corporate determines there is enough business in an area, they'll allow multiple operators to conduct business there - no territory restrictions. That would explain why people are finding multiple Kwik Kwerb businesses around TV.

I can't believe you could have missed it

It took a bit of drilling down to here

Bottom line is it can be done for a lot less with reasonable profit for a contractor.

Personally I like the dug out edge it's more natural than curbing, but that's why we have choices.

HD, garden centers or Lowes from .50-3.00 a foot

Believe it, Jimbo. Complete mystery of how you got to that info from the link you provided previously. That data comes from the curbingmachines web site - couldn't find how the connection to it was made. Maybe I'm just dense, though.......

Astounding profitability if you believe the numbers they quote. Sounds like a great business oppty for you!!!

Sorry you had a bad experience. We used All American in the past and was very happy. (Jim)
They put in our curb it and the original landscaping 5 yrs ago. A year ago we had them put in rock. Price was good too.

Negative was they did not show up on the scheduled date. We had to wait another day or two which was not a big deal.
