Question

Canary Island palm problem?

I have a Canary Island palm (so I have been told) and the frond stubs at the base are peeling away or flairing out. Is this normal or do I have a problem in the making? Any ideas?

I'm not sure.. floridata.com may have info, also the Florida Extension Service guy (Jim) on 466 & Morse can advise.
