Default Downspout diversion drain

We have been installing a lot of downspout diversion drains in the past few months! The heavy rains here lately have been causing so many water issues to our customer’s homes. We here at KGL Landscaping just want to offer a refresher on what exactly a down spout diversion drain AKA : (French drain, weeping tile also blind drain, rubble drain, rock drain, drain tile, perimeter drain, land drain, French ditch, sub-surface drain, sub-soil drain or agricultural drain) can do for the problem areas of standing water on your property. Rain gutters collect water falling over the entire surface area of your roof, channel it through downspouts and deposit it at concentrated areas close to your home. This rainwater then soaks into the ground and will collect near the base of your home in the soil beneath your home’s foundation. When protecting the value and usability of your property from water damage our goal is to capture excess water with a French Drain system, move it away from your home and then disperse it in a safe manner. If you do not immediately address water drainage issues you expose yourself to property damage, reduced functionality of your yard, health issues and “surprise” repair costs later. We are a Certified Landscape Drainage Contractor for Storm Water Management. Have us come out and give you a free estimate. 352-347-8307

Are you able to do an expert evaluation of the need for such a drain and reduce it to a report for the Warranty Department for homes still covered by warranty?

A friend of mine who purchased a new home had a French drain installed by just asking Home Warranty.
Works great!

In response to NYGUY, The type of report you are requesting is done through your home warranty and their inspectors.

In response to philandpat, In some cases they will do a French drain, but if you read our post it refers to downspout diversion drains which home warranty does not do.
