One of my neighbors was going to see if they retail plants there or sold only to landscapers, but I haven't heard the outcome yet. Don't know anyone who has used them for a project however. I can on the other hand recommend ******** Landscaping. See my post in this section for some pictures. There are many good ones to choose from around here but get recommendations so you are certain of their work and procedures! And try to get a few good estimates!

Fairfield sells retail, too.

Was there in December. Great nursery. Seemed like nice folks.

They are a Great landscape company, and they have been in it for years. They are a real landscaping company that has quality plant material that knows there stuff. They do great work here in The Villages. Anyone having landscaping done should make sure that the people doing there landscaping have the following before hiring them, (liability ins, workers comp, backround check, so many people don't, and when someone gets hurt you the homeowner can be responsible.

They sure have quality plants. If you want the "unusual", go there. Might be a little more, but good quality

I have been a customer of Fairfield for nine years. They really do have top shelf quality plants and trees, and their people are great, especially Susan who is the nursery manager and Brenda the owner. I have used them for everything from a complete new home landscaping project with huge trees and bushes to a tree or large bush planting here and there. Their products may be a little higher but the lifetime value is well worth it to me. I have shopped price many times but always end up at Fairfield for great quality at a reasonable price.

Ron,
Thanks for the tip on checking out contractors before they start a job. How do you recommend doing this?

Thanks

We had Fairfield do privacy landscaping for us in our 1st house in the villages. Didn't hesitate to have them do our new home. They are very professional and completed the job on time and looks great.

We like Fairfield Farms. We occasionally buy plants and shrubs there. They sometimes have neat stuff. This year we bought two limoncello rose buses at FF.
