Has anyone used G and C Landscaping? They gave me an excellent price to put in a french drain and resodding with Zoysia. They do want 50% after they start and they are getting back to me with refrences. But you know what they say about, If it seems too good.......

Based only on so many people who have paid a deposit and then had the service provider never show up, I have a standing rule for anyone I do business with in TV. I will pay you for completed work only. I am even willing to do milestone payments for a large job. However with those I would estimate 1/3 of the work and only pay 25%, maybe another 25% when 2/3 done and the balance when completed. A business person not willing to do that can take a walk. I will find someone else. I will not pay for materials until they are installed and again at a 50% rate. I have not been burned even once, but know others who have. And most legitimate business owners are fine with that arrangement.

We used Allen's Sod for our zoysia grass. The price was great, work was done as scheduled, and they now do our maintanence. Also important, they always return phone calls.
