I have a grass 9 ?? ) growing in our beds. It looks like a blade of grass and sends out runners to start new ones. Does anyone know what this is and how can I eliminate it ???

That is actually a weed. But, is in the grass family. You can pull it out. However it is everywhere in Florida. Hard to kill without effecting the normal grass.

Post a picture. Some grasses make beautiful runners!

Pictures would help. There are several good weed killers that are selective about which grass they work in without killing thevreal grass. Celcious and Image are two. Pricey butbthey work.

It sounds like running bermuda, a little different than typical bermuda grass. I think it's best to pull it out, root and all.
