Default Huletts Services

Has anyone had the same experience with this company?

I called on Wednesday and was told the service tech was busy that day but would call on Thursday before he would arrive. I waited all day on Thursday and no one called or came out. I phoned the company at 5pm and was told someone would be out at 9am on Friday. After no one showed by 9:30 I called to let someone in management know how potential new customers are treated. The Customer Service Gal said the manager would be out shortly. At approx 10 am the salesman scheduled showed up and explained their services and stated I would have to give him a years payment in advance or a credit card they could charge for every time they serviced my yard. I explained given the circumstances of their performance to date I could not do this. Ten Minutes later the manager showed up. He apologized and stated the same terms of their services. I asked him given as how I was treated would he enlist the services of this company? I was willing to pay for services at the time of treatment but to entrust anything further was impossible.

I have no experience with their company, but I hate their ads. I thought I got away from them in S Fla., but now they are up here too. The owner, the midget in the ad had a twin brother who died in a botch surgery. Apparently he never got over it and you still see his brother in some ads. I listened to one of them talk in a church about 9 years ago but not sure if it was the survivor or victim. He was a great speaker and both brothers were millionaires having several businesses. Sorry for the long answer, thought you'd be interested in the background. Again, their ads are so silly that I've always shunned them. It may seem petty, but irritating ads turn me off.

I'm extremely leary of any company that "demands" payment up front. I am more than willing to "pay as you go" for lawn services/landscapers but never willing to pay in advance. Well, never say "never" because I do pay a month at a time, in advance, for my current lawn service - but I have used them for over seven years now with no problems. But the one month is about my limit.

well, don't expect service to improve.
I'd look elsewhere.

I thought it was very funny when I saw their newspaper add recently. I remember flipping channels years ago at our original address, and caught the Dwarf twins hawking a get rich quick real estate system.

If you think one person can be a quick talker, you should experience it in stereo.
