Thinking about getting some dwarf bushes. They produce cheeries. One cherry equal to 12 oranges in vitamin C. Yes, 12 oranges!
Also, thinking about Goji berries and WIRI WIRI Peppers. Anybody have any experience with them? Finely found the name of big deep red leafs plants up at Mulberry Rec. center between the pool and shuffle board courts. ACALYPHA WILKESIANA (copper leaf) comes in several colors. Couldn't grow them where I lived before but, now climate should be accommodating here? |

I planted goji berries this spring. They are not doing well. I did get flowers but no fruit.
I'm no expert BUT, I believe the plants are short lived-only good for a few years and I believe they get too much rain here. Barbados cherries-I expect there is a reason they are not sold. I would check to see what they taste like. With that much vitamin C they likely taste like a vitamin C pill. Also, you can get too much vitamin C. Result is diarrhea. |

Ft Meyers is where the nursery that has them. I also interested in Suriarn cherries, Echium Fastuosum (pride of Madeira), and Texoma Stans (yellow elder).
