Default Mums blooming in April?

We have some mums that have made a miraculous come back after being knocked down by last winters cold days.

Should we be removing the buds and few flowers that are already opening?

Mine did the same thing last year and this year. Twice on Tuesdays told me to just cut them back again. They will rebloom in the fall.

Default Me too

Mine are either blooming (2 plants) or in bud (2 plants). I'm going to see what they do before late May, when we are leaving for about 7 weeks. Going to cut them back right before we leave, in hopes that we will have buds/blooms again this fall.
