Default Need Disposal Site for Concrete Pavers

I recently removed concrete pavers from my yard. Where can I take the pavers for disposal? Thank you.

There is a Sumter County waste disposal facility off route 470, I would call CSU first to make sure they will take this. Depending on how much you have and the condition, you could advertise on this site, NextDoor, or Craigslist, and probably have them removed for free. On a side note, I removed a small concrete pad, and the trash pickup would not take any of the small broken concrete, so I would advise not trying to place in the trash.

Have you tried advertising on TOTV and Nextdoor? Someone might want free pavers!

Do you have to be a resident of Sumter County? Just asking because the OP may not be and I tried using a Marion County disposal site near my house and could not because I was a Lake County resident.

“ tried using a Marion County disposal site“

IMO that’s wrong, why we see trash piles along roads. They should take with extra charge.

I believe that you need to be a county resident to use the county trash site, call first to be sure.

Bailey990,
What is the color(s), size and thickness of your pavers? I could use some replacements. Many in my driveway are broken. They are approx 1 1/8” to 1 1/4” thick. Two sizes: approx 4”x4” and 4”x6”, earth tones. They should have used thicker pavers. Many of the 4”x6” pavers are broken.

Where do you live? In lady lake you can break them into 12” sections and put them on curb for regular pickup

Take pictures, put ad on Craig's list and either sell or give them away for free. I got rid of mine that way.
