Default Outdoor Lighting

Looking at moving to TV in a couple of years, but considering buying next year.

Is outdoor lighting allowed, as per the Community Standards, strung up around a lania?

No HOA.

While the lights may be allowed, please be considerate of you neighbors. I installed a set of security lights several years ago, and within a few days my neighbor came over and mentioned that the lights were shining in the window and directly on their television. Even though the lights were aimed away from their house the lights were still visible, they have been turned off ever since. I valued our relationship with this neighbor a lot.

I can't say whether it is "allowed" or not, but I have been house hunting for a couple months now and I see these lights strung on lanais in a lot of listings. As Tinker said, as long as you are considerate, I don't think it would be an issue.
