Default Pooters

I am the homeowner in question with regards to the thread "Resident looses $8500.00 to vendor on the Square." I want to tell everyone who has questioned the company of Pooter's, that I would highly recommend them. Everyone can make mistakes. Their standards, with regards to standing behind their products and services, is commendable. We have reched an agreement with them. Our yard will be returned to a true sodded yard,at their cost. As for the other details of the our agreement, we are going to keep those details to ourselves. I just wanted to let everyone know that we are happy and satisfactied with the this company, and the outcome of our meeting was more then satisfactory.

To be honest... I was happy with the way they handled the last post. Classy! It got me to thinking about my birdcage and dogs. We are now talking about putting artificial grass in our birdcage! We will most likely check with Pooters about doing the work.

Had it not been for the previous post... I probably wouldn't have even thought of it!

Thanks for the update! I'm glad it all worked out for you!

Was the original post with all the gory details a little premature?

This brings back the saying my Dad and Mom always said. "Do not believe everything you read and only half of what you see".

Thank you for reminding me to get the facts before jumping to conclusions. There are always two sides to every story.

If the deed compliance people got involved I would credit TOTV with solving the issue for the homeowner. TOTV created a pooh storm for Pooters.
The issue should never have happened and should have been fixed before the first TOTV posting.

Default Great

The world needs more people like larbar. Also, more business like Pooters. I have great respect for both.
I'm not sure TOTV had anything to do with solving it. Sounds to me more like two decent people solved a problem. It happens all the time as long as no one is a hot head on either side.
Thanks Angie for helping the company. You sound like a real decent person too.
As larbar said before. This is a company of hard working people who are just trying to make a living.

Congrats to the homeowner and thanks for the follow-up but Pooter really had no other options here. You can make it a feel good story because it's the right move on your part but they were still peddling artificial grass in front yards well after your project had come into issue with Deed Compliance. I doubt your situation would have been resolved as quickly if it wasn't the Power of TOTV among others.
Anyway, glad things are turning out well for you.

Oh Pooters could have done what many business do.
Worked in business all my life and I have seen business often not do the right thing.
I have seen business ignore BB, go to court ( and win!) leave town or just ignore. Other reorganize under a new name.
Talk of the Villages means a great deal to us who know about it. Sad to say many don't know about this board.
A business just like a person, always has a choice and many choose not to do the right thing.

Glad to hear that both parties were able to come up with an agreeable solution.

Who knows where the pressure came from? Doesn't matter in the long run. But going back to read Pooters very first post about what they were going to do makes it sound like they came to a different resolution than was stated. I'm glad that the homeowners are satisfied and I think Pooters will get a reprieve from TOTVers based on the outcome.
