Hi New Residents, Please spread this warning to all your new neighbors!
If you see or hear of a gray truck, with a Father and sons group, working the streets of Sanibel to drum up some work, landscaping. Have nothing to due with them. They are Liars and theives, the worst! First big mistake is to talk to them at all, the father is high pressure, they then ask for a 50 deposit, which is a hugh no no! They don't start work til 11 am if your lucky, and leave at 3 PM. If not so lucky, they take your money and run, Debbie Dodd the owner, and mother of the sons, is just as dishonest, and not to be trusted. The whole group are a bunch of dishonest theives, please help run them out of business. Beware they prey on new neighborhoods!!

Hoping to be a resident in Sanibel one day I would relish a vendor as you describe. I would explain how I would need a 50% deposit from them to do our home. I wouldn't be surprised if your conversation would abruptly end!

We are in Hemingway, (not too far from Sanibel). We just had a wonderful landscaper Dustin LoRusso with Lawn Solutions. We reccomend him highly. 352-748-5296

I had work done by this company and was initially very happy with the results. We got many compliments from our neighbors and all seemed well. Unfortunately, things changed around 3 months later. Landscaping, Trees & More gives you a 12 month warranty on their product. The palm in our front yard seemed to be dying and we called Mark on more than 10 occasions to take a look at this tree. You leave messages and get no response. Now it appears the palm is dead. What kind of company gives you a warranty and then will not respond when you have a problem. The answer is pretty simple - a company with no integrity that just gives you "lip service".

If anyone knows where I can find the main person, Mark Dodd, please let me know.

We used Landscaping, Trees, and More about 3 years ago.

We were very pleased with the results and they did replace a couple of items that didn't survive.

The one big complaint we had - as previously mentioned - they never return your calls. (I guess they recognize 'old" customer's phone numbers.) They had agreed to come back and finalize some work after our birdcage was complete but we could never get a hold of them so we hired someone else. I honestly thought they had gone out of business.

Landscapers are one of the most common complaints in The Villages. Seniors vs. Crime is the place to file a complaint. Seniors vs. Crime is a project of the Florida State Attorney General's Office. They have an office at the Sheriff's substation on 466 & Morse. That office has been able to recover over $1 million dollars for Villagers. It is a totally free service. Great volunteers.

They are open 3 days per week from 10 am until 2 pm on Tues, Wed. and Thursdays.

They were here yesterday also a new area. Driving around and stopping whenever someone was outside. They spent a long time at one house in our neighborhood. They were towing a trailer full of palm trees. What did they do to you? Thank you for posting this warning.
